I wonder if they rushed him into the championship picture to get a Bryan/Barrett feud going. It is a bit odd though how nearly everyone has beaten Bryan yet he becomes the champ. For once though, I actually think they have something decent planned. I wouldn't mind him going heel this week and saying how nobody actually believed in him. I think he needs something like a heel turn to define him a little.

He has been screwed a little bit as taking the title at WM would have had more impact but I'm sure he doesn't mind.

Why didn't they put Bryan over at Wrestlemania? :?

Have Henry stay dominant and have the feel good factor of pushing Bryan over the guy who has been unstoppable. Henry still keeps face for being a monster heel while pushing Bryan to main event status

This company is retarded :fp:

Then why not put it on Big Show? From what I have read they have been feuding with Henry for the past couple of months. Push Show as the killer hill and Bryan to overcome that

Bryan hasn't been on Pay Per View since Summerslam, where he lost.

  • Summerslam - Wade Barrett defeated Daniel Bryan.
  • SmackDown October 21 - Wade Barrett defeated Daniel Bryan
  • SmackDown October 28 - Daniel Bryan defeated Tyson Kidd
  • SmackDown November 4 - Mark Henry defeated Daniel Bryan
  • SmackDown November 11 - Mark Henry defeated Daniel Bryan.
  • SmackDown November 25 - Daniel Bryan cashed in his money in the bank on Mark Henry. The decision was reversed by Teddy Long. Bryan then went on to win a Fatal Four Way to face Mark Henry for the Championship.
  • SmackDown Holiday Edition - Mark Henry defeated Daniel Bryan in a Steel Cage match for the World Championship.
  • WWE RAW Dec 5 - Alberto Del Rio defeated Daniel Bryan
  • SmackDown Dec 9 - Cody Rhodes defeated Daniel Bryan
  • WWE RAW December 12 - Dolph Ziggler defeated Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes and Zack Ryder when Ziggler pinned Bryan.
  • SmackDown Dec 16 - Cody Rhodes defeated Daniel Bryan
  • TLC - Daniel Bryan cashed in his briefcase on Big Show to win the World Championship.

Who says wins & loses don't matter...

Interesting KK, certainly looks odd from a booking standpoint. I genuinely believe they will make something of this on Smackdown though. I might be misguided but surely they have to have his poor run recently as an aspect of the story going forward, being called an unworthy champ etc.

Will Daniel Bryan turn heel? Happy he's the WHC but it would've been better seeing him win at Wrestlemania.

Whilst I have been underwhelmed by him as a face I think he would be an excellent heel. I always think submission wrestlers are better as heels for some reason.

He's much better at playing a sort of heel anyway

Yeah I've heard a lot of people say he was brilliant as a heel in ROH.

I'd love to see him go for a sort of Wrestling Machine type heel. He's got the skills and he's shown the intensity at times as well so he could be arrogant and say "No one in that locker room or on the roster can beat me one on one in the ring" and then for weeks he can just keep making people tap out for fun. If he turns heel though i wonder if Cole will like him

A lot of people have tipped Orton to win the Rumble next year - especially with it being in his hometown, I think that would be a pretty good match at Wrestlemania.

Edit: I loved how the first thing he did both times when he won the title was shove it right in Michael Cole's face  I must admit, when Bryan was talking into the camera i had a feeling the camera might go off him just out of fear for what he might of said in the heat of the moment

I don't know why people are questioning putting it on Big Show then Bryan. Considering the Smackdown interaction and what Cole was saying it's clearly to set that up as his first feud.

Just finished watching TLC. Thought most of it was quite good but the finish to the Show/Henry match was awful

Why was Bryan allowed to cash in? :fp:

Michael Cole ends up managing Daniel Bryan after admitting he showed guts by taking on The Big Show and turning his back on the fans

Could be a great booking thing and would instantly villify Bryan against the fans.....

Going on the WWE's past history, that would almost make sense, and therefore it is not going to happen.
