But, surely since Orton pinned him he'll get a shot at the belt now? Which either means Rhodes will beat one of the companies biggest stars to retain, or one of the companies biggest stars will be IC champ. Don't both of those things build the belt up?

When did he put on these really good performances?

I think people just mark out for his surprise RKO's and gloss over his in-ring shortcomings.

I know you hate the guy but I find it amazing you can't adknowledge that he's probably been the best guy in the ring behind Punk this year. But hey...

According to Lawler, this is practically a cruiserweight match...

Booker forgetting Morrison's name - calling him the Parkour kid   Just reading through Kerrang's video game issue and they put Duke Nukem's look alike as Chris Jericho

His character at the moment is lacking, but in the ring i do think Orton is pretty damn good. The way he gets booked these day doesn't really do a good job of showing off how good Orton can be. I thought he was pretty damn good during his post-Evolution days.

I thought the ring was ready to crumble after that double clothesline

Called it.

Well you don't need the ring for a Last Man Standing match.

To think, this is exactly how SmackDown ended with Lesnar & Big Show. Bet most of the crowd don't even remember. :(

You are attempting to use logic. Logic does not exist in the 'WWE Universe'. They will most likely kill the feud now.

They could have at least come up with something new to break the ring. At least this wastes 20 minutes, I suppose.

Nah, they'll wrestle at Survivor Series. Trust me.

I remember that. One of few genuine 'holy gooseberry fool' moments i've had while watching Wrestling.

See how they make the black guy walk, while the Big Show gets driven from the ring

I have a horrible feeling they're going to repeat the finish of Cena's LMS match vs Batista, except he'll tie Del Rio up with the ring ropes. And I will weep deeply if I'm right.

This would have worked so much better as a reason to cite unsafe working conditions too.

This gives Del Rio an excuse for when he loses to Cena & he lifts the title for the 90000th time.
