Two more episodes of Raw and that'll be a full 6 months of the show caught up with. Not thinking much of the card so far but heh, I'll stay positive and say "but it's Mania"!

Loving Heyman, Cesaro, The Shield, Sandow and Punk over that period. It'll be weird actually watching it weekly again :)

Yeah although the build has been the weakest I can remember, you are almost guaranteed a great show. Not £18 worth mind, but still a great show.

Rock and Cena this week was very interesting. They are blatantly teasing a Cena heel turn, I just wonder if they have the bottle to go through with it. I could actually see then turning Rock now instead!

I doubt they'll turn Rock. There's pretty much nobody he could feud with where he'd be considered the heel by the crowd.

Yes that's true. The heels are in such a poor state right now. I was thinking they would turn the Rock and have him retain and then drop the title to Cena at the next PPV, but I can't see Cena getting cheered over Rock even if he pulled off the best heel turn of all time.

They could do with another main-event level heel (as they pretty much have Punk, and possibly Mark Henry & Big Show) but the thing is, who could Rock face off against that would generate genuine interest and actually not have the face get booed? the only chance I imagine would be Sheamus. Which would actually be a good idea if Sheamus went over.

WWE RAW averaged 4,305,333 viewers.

Hour 1: 4,031,000
Hour 2: 4,483,000
Hour 3: 4,402,000

Show did a 3.1 rating.

Bet WWE won't be remotely happy with that number considering just how many big names were on the show.

I'm 29 and i've taken the day off to watch WM.

Worrying thing is, my boss suggested I do it, after I watched it live then went in for work last year and was in a terribe state due to no sleep :slol:

Stupidest thing I've read in a while, consider the amount of money you splurge on crap over a week, that £18 is a blockbuster of entertainment that happens once a year. Shame on you

Is WrestleMania 29 worth £18? I dunno, it hasn't happened yet.

Didn't even realise Wrestlemania was this weekend. Zero hype for it.

I wouldn't worry about it - some people love football, others baseball... you just love (or loved) wrestling!

Nothing is like the crazy world of wrestling.

I can trump that as I'm 30 and have taken the day off to watch WM, however I'm starting to doubt my decision.

So where did the story that they were Paul Bearer's ashes come from out of interest? WWE have been very careful so far to say that the urn only represents Taker's power and not that it contains Bearer. I'm just interested to know why people assumed it was Paul's ashes. Did WWE state that anywhere?

They said "Paul Bearer's urn", probably deliberately so it could be taken both ways

Well to be fair to WWE they have been very careful in recent weeks to explain the history of the urn (which was always carried by Paul). I don't think they intentionally made out it was his ashes. It has long been established that the urn was what gave Taker his power (crazy wrestling story I know  ) and that the urn contained ashes (this isn't the first time they have been thrown on someone). In fact it was Bearer throwing the ashes that led to the title being vacated in 1992.

Ironically, it is the long term fans that are complaining that it was Paul's ashes, and they are the ones that should know better and normally pick up on this stuff.

The only thing I had cause to find offensive was the comments about Paul's streak which was just an unbelievable comment to make. :(
