I've caught up with last week's Smackdown finally. :fp: Did anybody else think that Taker looked quite uncomfortable doing Kane's pyro bit? It was like he couldn't quite lift his arms all the way or put them down again.

Incredibly TNA have decided to copy 'Warrior in the mirror' on WCW Nitro. The idea was nobody other than Hogan could see him in the mirror. Only problem being everyone at home, along with the commentators, could. So, the person who was actually going insane was Eric Bischoff (who was also in the room & couldn't see Warrior).

Fast forward 12 years. Replace Warrior with Katie Lea, Hogan with Angelina Love & Eric Bischoff with Velvet Sky. Somehow the viewer is also experiencing Angelina's mind, & her mind alone.

Maybe they'll have, oh I dunno, Sting clutching a blow up doll in the rafters...

Everything in that video is awful.

No-one has a strawberry floating clue how they should be reacting; Buff Bagwell and Steiner start posing and look like idiots. Hogan has to run into the ring because he's supposed to get caught in the smoke. The Giant sees the smoke, yet enters anyway.

I'm so glad the WWF didn't go out of business, because at least they don't stand for shoddy crap like that every week. Occasionally stuff falls through the cracks, but almost everything Bischoff and Russo do is rough, poorly paced and with miscast characters.

More Warrior silliness came back to back on Nitro & then the following Sunday at Fall Brawl. On Nitro, the smoke poured in to the cage & when the smoke had cleared, The Giant had fallen asleep (Hogan however was fine). Then at Fall Brawl, despite magically appearing in the steel cage on both shows, when the door was padlocked shut, he was incapable of getting out. So he had to boot down the cage wall...in the process tearing his biceps.

Come to think of it, there was a moment leading to the video on the last page where Beefcake was out in the locker-room (or it may have been the toilets, I can't quite remember), but anyway Hogan ran in & saw him laid out...moments later the cameraman poured a fire-extinguisher into the room (there was a woman coughing in the background, & voices of what seemed to be production personnel) & Beefcake had vanished.

I've begun watching Bill Goldberg's winning streak on youtube, starting with victory no. 1 against Hugh Morrus in 1997.

I may be some time.

His commentary for the British Bulldog/HHH match on Smackdown is made of purest win.

EDIT: I say commentary, I mean his reffing/commentating.

Last night's TNA iMPACT! did a 1.16 rating with 1,509,000 viewers, down from the 1.4 the week previous. So yeah, any increased interest from Bound for Glory has already evaporated after one week.

That was also the match where The Rock did the best Peoples' Elbow ever.

Lucien wrote:Here is a GRAPL query as well... Cena screwing someone... that could count for screwing someone out of the match OR screwing Barrett out of the title by say, attacking Orton.

I took it to be costing someone the match, whether intentional or not. However thinking about it i would have thought to actually screw some body then it would have to be on purpose, so getting caught by the ref hitting orton and costing barrett the match is that really a screw? or maybe hitting barrett by mistake meaning orton gets dq'd but holds onto the belt, is that also a screw?
