That X-division 3 way was so good, reminded of times long gone. That double clothes line through the bottom rope :o

TNA, you keep doing these matches and I'm tuning back in

You know what, that streetfight was perhaps (for a part of it anyway) one of the most realistic street fights I remember seeing in wrestling. It wasn't a comedy, chuck around and smash into a pop corn machine, find a random surf board and smash it over somones head, just straight up, gritty and semi-realistic fight (until the flippin' angle slam onto a car :fp: )

Sure there was some utter gooseberry fool on this show, Hogan/Sting (so Hogan is a good guy again?) but the knockouts looked interesting again, superb x-division match, Austin Aries, if TNA allow it, is going to shine in the spotlight, great Somoa Joe/RVD match and a good street fight. Dare I say these words but... that was actually a good wrestling show

I feel sick

I tuned out for that as both wrestlers, particularly Joe, have been made to look second rate since Hogan/Bischoff came into the company. Couldn't see myself doing that if this was a year or two ago...

And yet this week turned off a lot of viewers throughout the course of the show - especially the first hour. It was nothing but decline.

Best thing about SmackDown is the commentary from Booker T.

Should have just told him to make any noise whatsoever. You'd probably hear him.

Seems like the message is you can't have good wrestling shows and viewing figures right now. Not on a weekly basis because if TNA and WWE did everything we wanted them to it'd alienate a chunk of the audience that already tune in. I'm not saying that's the exact reason for Impact's figures dropping but if they continue putting out a product that "wrestling" fans want to see and they lose numbers, it'd change a lot of minds.
