I saw most of the Shawn vs Brett DVD today. One thing that struck me is that these guys had a long history that built to two mega matches. Both Shawn and Brett felt WWE borked that build up. Compare that to Punk/Bryan today and it is like night and day.

They used to spend years teasing and building up to a grudge match with feuds back then. I think Vince has ADD now.
