Thought some might be interested to know how Linda McMahon is getting on in her Senate race...

Quinnipiac University released a new poll today on the U.S. Senate race in Connecticut that indicates former WWE CEO Linda McMahon has slightly improved her standing in the race.

McMahon's Democratic opponent, Richard Blumenthal, scored 54 percent compared to McMahon's 37 percent in the poll on who residents would vote for in a hypothetical race.

Last month's poll results had Blumenthal leading 55 to 35 percent. The net result is three points in McMahon's favor with Blumenthal down one point and McMahon up two points.

Also in the new poll released today, Blumenthal has a 60 percent favorable rating and a 28 percent unfavorable rating. McMahon polled at 43 percent and 37 percent, respectively.

The new poll indicates more Connecticut voters are starting to form an opinion one way or another on McMahon. Last month, McMahon scored 38 percent "favorable" and 35 percent "unfavorable." She gained five percent in the favorable category and also gained two percent in the unfavorable category this month.

I really hope that she doesn't win as i think her in office would only be a bad thing for the future of wwe. If she gets that position then i can imagine there being even more restrictions on what can and can't be shown on wwe tv.

According to those that attended the TNA tapings this week, last night's show ending brawl was heavily edited. Some have called it a "Cliffsnotes version" of the angle.

TNA edited out Shannon Moore and Jesse Neal trying to save Rob Van Dam from Abyss, the segment where Brian Kendrick caused Simon Diamond and Al Snow to side with ECW as well as Abyss' reaction to Foley coming out.

Also, the crowd reactions on TV were said to be nowhere near to what they were live. It was still a great angle though and I'm told it only gets better next week.

Sounds like they edited out quite a bit. Still, it was a clusterfuck, although I'm not as down on it as others. Yet.
