Totally forgot it was Backlash tonight. No work tomorrow so I'll probably stay up for it.

Anyone else see a resemblance in Ortons acting skills to Hayden Christensen?

No insult intended...

Wrestling sites are reporting that Orton is suffering a light injury and that's why he has missed some house shows this week.

I'll be streaming tonight. All the top title matches have me interested and the Jericho match too. Cena and Edge surely have to see this has been done to death and so they'll exploit the gimmick to give an entertaining match. The 6 man tag has to be booked to be chaos, it has to be or there's no point in it. Swagger Vs Christian, according to my theory of how the matches are ordered on the WWE site should be between the main events so it should be given more time than it would have been the expected opener. Given the spot and Swagger wanting to impress being the new guy and Christian wanting to prove his main card potential it should be a good bout. The end will be interesting too, if the go with Swagger again their acquisition of Christian will be as wasted as your typical TNA buy. If they go with Christian they'll be onto a winner and he'll be on his way to the bigger things he deserves. Jericho Vs Steamboat will be good for the fact that Steamboat seems game and still able so seeing him give it his all to prove he still do it together with Jericho's ability and willingness to put over one of his heroes should mean that this will be a decent match no matter what happens.

WCW's War Games is at Number 7 on WWE.com's 10 Most Extreme Matches list. It's been over ten years since we've seen that double cage contraption lower from the ceiling - I wonder if they'll bring it back? Triple H is apparently an advocate of the event.

Perfect fit for Extreme Rules: War Games.

War Games is the one with two caged rings next to each other right? I remember watching one with a fake Sting and it was a bit pish to be honest. If there's any OTT WCW gimmick they bring back it should be the triple cage.

Edge Vs Joh Cena for Backlash. Don't even think of changing anything!

As expected, John Cena will be dropping the World Heavyweight Championship to Edge tonight at Backlash. While it's been expected since the draft due to there being no champion on SmackDown and Edge being a member of the blue brand, there is another reason why Cena will be dropping the title tonight to confirm that there won't be any wacky swerve on the part of WWE to throw fans off. They could always have CM Punk cash in but we'll see.

Cena is expected to take some time off from the road in May to begin work on his next film. As a result, he will be unable to work house shows, and as a cardinal rule, WWE Champions must always appear at house shows.

While he'll likely be taking some time off from house shows for a while, as in the past, he is expected to work around his filming schedule and work television tapings and pay-per-views events in the meantime.

Is there a deadline? Just looked through Rog's posts and there doesn't appear to be one. I assume it is 11pm as it has been in the past.
