Just got 2 tickets to the upcoming WWE DX Invasion tour at the O2 Arena in London on November 11th I was gutted to miss the shows just gone but now i can't wait till Nov (tis'll be my 5th WWE show i've seen live)

Nobody can provide these moments any more - TNA simply don't have a crowd big enough for a start. And the current WWE crowds couldn't give two gooseberry fools.

Yep, I've learned to accept that it's never every going to be as good so I don't tend to moan too much about the current product now - I just accept that it isn't going to match up and reminisce about the good old days. I literally get chills watching that video when the crowd erupts at the start of Vince's theme, as you say the crowds were just unbelievably into the shows then.

I enjoyed the period when he always had the belt in the McMahon/Helmsley era when it was literally The Rock vs the rest but since he became face and has refused to drop the belt to anyone cleanly he's just became increasingly more annoying.

World Wrestling Entertainment sent out a peculiar press release this past Thursday saying WWE programming beat American Idol in the all important Males 18-34 advertiser demographic for the week of April 13th, reaching more than 16 million viewers. You can read the press release at corporate.wwe.com. To come up with the 16 million viewers figure, you'd have to combine both hours of Raw as two different shows, not to mention ECW, Smackdown & WWE Superstars, as well as all of the show replays on Universal, Mun2 and WGN America. You'd also have to consider that none of those people watched more than one show (including both hours of Raw), and then compare the total number of viewers for the week to a single episode of American Idol.
