Goldberg is in talks with the WWE.

If it's a short run, I'm all for it.

Attempt number 2 to book Goldberg correctly. How do you book Goldberg in 2010? No idea. Have him run through the likes of Matt Hardy, Jimmy Wang Yang & Santino I suppose. A match against Undertaker (Streak Vs Streak) for 'Mania 27 would be big. Wouldn't it be hilarious if he just came in: Bell sounds, 'taker misses a big boot, Spear, Jackhammer, 1-2-3, Undertaker's streak over with. The look on people's faces would be priceless.

NXT did another 0.9 rating (same rating but another 7 percent drop in viewership)

I can't see Goldberg coming in to wrestle; might do a match or two, but if anything this will be a deal to get him involved in the video games, perhaps a DVD deal, and maybe even a Hall of Fame induction for next year

DVD and Hall of Fame seems likely. I'd like to see Bret induct him, that would be a nice moment.

Goldberg would probably botch the handshake and break Brets arm though.

Bret may be accident-prone, but he's indestructable. He cannot be killed.

His skeleton will be sitting next to giant mutant cockroaches after the apocalypse, saying "You know what the great thing about the Bret Hart is?"

I'm loking forward to Mania now that I've heard my local sports bar are doing a promotion wherein we pay a fiver, get drinks promos and Wrestlemania is on. Hopefully this isn't a lie. 8-)

That sounds awesome, would be great if there was anywhere near me which would do that sort of thing. Instead I've got the THIRD ANNUAL SPECTACULAR Mania party at a mate of mines, should be good.

Sky aired an extended promo for 'Mania following NCIS LA on Monday. I can't remember as big a push for WrestleMania in the UK.

Anyone watched the Sky Anytime previews? The WWE have got this new presenter that sounds like a genuine American sportscaster. Brings more of an authentic feel to proceedings, anyway.

Also, this will hopefully be the first year I get to watch WrestleMania live with my 30 year old brother, who moved to Norway years ago. He's the person who got me into wrestling at the age of 2. If it wasn't for him showing me WrestleMania on tape, I wouldn't be a fan. He's also the biggest Bret Hart mark on the planet, so this should be great.

I honestly look forward to WrestleMania more than Christmas. The party, the drinking games, the predictions; it's all so much fun.

You should come through mate, I imagine it'll be a good laugh! I reckon we're going to do the third annual MITB sweepstake as well, few quid in the pot per randomly selected wrestler and winner takes all. I'm actually really up for this now. :fp:

I think we'll tone it down a bit to try and last the course. Some startoff rules, feel free to suggest other ones:

If a wrestler hits his finishing move and pins his opponent - two fingers of your drink

Wrestler is knocked off a ladder while touching the MITB briefcase - two fingers of your drink

Vince McMahon utters the word "screw" in any form(screwed, screwing, screwer, etc) - take a shot

If Michael Cole says the word "Viper" in relation to Randy Orton - take a shot

If Michael Cole uses the word "Vintage" in any context - two fingers of your drink

Move botch - Take a shot

"Cerebral Assassin/The Game," "The Heartbreak Kid," "The Deadman/Phenom," "The Ultimate Opportunist," or "The Plucky Underdog(Rey Mysterio)" in relation to certain wrestlers - One finger of your drink

If A WWE Hall of Famer is talking, you must be drinking.

Mention of any deceased former WWE employee - down your pint

Mention of Robin Ethics - down three pints. Of Jagermeister.

I don't think that's feasible, you'd be dead before MITB.
