Watching Sheamus/Del Rio and I actually quite like both in the ring. It's just their characters that leave things falling flat. Sheamus is exactly like Punk and Cena as a sterile identikit face and Del Rio hasn't evolved at all in the last 2 years.

There's the possibility that Brock turns up in the final segment at the 1000th Raw and tells Triple H to shove his match. The lights could go out. The bell could clang. Undertaker could appear and tell Lesnar that if he can beat Triple H next month, then he'll challenge him at next year's WrestleMania.
Unfinished business/dangling carrot for Brock. SummerSlam and Mania sorted - no more tedious "c'mon, just gies a fight" storylines at the turn of the year. It would add weight and continuation of the character and storyline.

So, they probably won't do this :simper:

Thought MITB was ok overall actually. The WHC MITB match and WWE championship matches were really enjoyable (even if the former was a botch fest for the first half).

Cena winning was so predictable you can't even be disappointed by it. I couldn't really give a gooseberry fool anymore.

Sin Cara amazingly went without any botches (well none that were his fault). This miracle screwed Proto, Drumstick and his partner, Slimgrady, Sykes, Banjo and Jeffrey out of a perfect score.

Drumstick takes a commanding lead with his tag partner being below him. The real story here is Proto, who is now in the top 5  This is............unexpected.

You what really grinds my gears. WWEs constant need to announce everything and hardly ever give us surprises. For the 1000th episode they've announced The Rock, Brock Lesner and DX. Now why do that? I'm ok with Brock being announced as part of the storyline but why not have the other two as surprises. If they just advertised it as as massive guests from raw's history and then the likes of Rock turn up it would be great. I don't think announcing rock would get any extra viewers as I think the same people who would tune in to watch a rock segment would also tune in anyway for raw 1000th episode with massive returning superstars.

what I still hope will happen is that someone like Austin will turn up unannounced. I may then forgive them slightly.

Damn the ending to MITB annoyed me more that I thought it would. Seeing the fans go crazy for that was massively depressing. Can't help but think Raw 1000 will go off air with Cena winning the title.

I'm actually just reading an article on someone saying the exact same thing

And yeah especially after Vince hailed Austin as the man he felt had the biggest impact during Raw's time on air/the attitude era. I hope we get some cool interactions backstage and stuff. Rock and Austin coming face to face, Brock and Rock face to face and some of the legends interacting with some of the current roster as well.

Has anyone ever cashed in the MitB briefcase in a legitimate one-on-one yet? Because that's how Cena will cash in and win because he's Super Cena and doesn't need to take advantage.
