WWE are considering making a Mick Foley vs. CM Punk match at the TLC PPV in December.

Not sure how good an idea that is, as based on the last few months, Mick Foley can barely move.

Foley hasn't been able to move for about ten years anyway. All he'd do is lie there while Punk beats him up. Then he'd take out his sock, and get pinned.

Are people going to believe Foley is a believable challenger, & therefore prepared to pay for it?

Not really sure I want to see an immobile Foley get back in the ring again & take unnecessary bumps which will involve any combination of Tables, Ladders and Chairs.

The current frontrunner for holding WWE WrestleMania XXX is the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans, with an official capacity of 72,000. The Coliseum out of Los Angeles is 2nd, which is listed at 93,600.

I'd love to see Foley vs Punk. I know it wouldn't be good for Mick, but somehow I think he would end up doing a good job with Punk. Plus the alternative is another match with Cena or Ryback.

I think Punk's title run will have naturally run it's course by Rumble (he would have run out of challengers) so that would be the perfect spot to end it.

For a Raw segment that would maybe be acceptable but for the main event of a PPV.. Besides, hasn't it been said that he's essentially one bump away from getting a serious injury or even being crippled? I still wouldn't be surprised if Punk has one final one on one match with either Cena or Ryback for the title - whoever doesn't end up getting pined at SS. Cena can say he never got his one on one rematch after the double pin finish and Ryback could say he never got a one on one rematch after being screwed by that ref.

I agree with the comments about a foley v punk match. Last time foley wrestled he couldn't even move faster than a walk and all he could do was punch.
