To me it seems like they had no idea who was going to win the Turning Point main event when they did the triple threat match - In no way would I want to see hardy v Storm, terrible match. Roode v Hardy though isn't much better, but at least I like RoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooode

I liked how they redid the tug of war over the title as it was upside down the first time; evidently they wanted the image for .com photographs and a video package.

WWE RAW averaged 4,193,000 viewers and a 2.9.

Hour 1: 4,154,000
Hour 2: 4,399,000
Hour 3: 4,027,000

F4Wonline.com wrote:Jerry Jarrett on the Lawler angle from last night: "I watched WWE last night. Jerry Lawler was returning after surviving a life threatening heart attack. I sat watching the television with a feeling of pride that they were honoring the return of such a great wrestler. I sat thinking, "now this is real class". Just when I was appreciating the class WWE was showing, it ended suddendly with a juvenile cheap heat angle. I turned the television off and starting thinking about Linda McMahon's hard work and great expense running for the Senate. It is exactly this kind of programming that prevented her from becoming a Senator. Wrestling should have some limits and boundaries. If you offend great portions of the audience, it is a bad angle."

I didn't personally have an issue with the heart attack angle. As long as King was fine with it, it didn't bother me.

That said, it doesn't in any way, shape or form fit go with PG television.

Well it only took them 1 week after Linda's campaign failure to come up with something distasteful.

LoL.

Its strawberry floating wrestling.

Who gives a strawberry float.

Offended by something that happens on RAW. God love those folk who go out into the real world.

I think if the wider majority did watch pro-wrestling, there would be absolute outrage considering the type of things people complain to the TV regulator about these days.

This isn't the first time wrestling has run a heart attack angle (faked or otherwise) & it probably won't be the last. On the offensive scale, I'd put running a terrorist storyline days after the London tube bombings way up there, especially after they'd explicitly told Sky they wouldn't.

What can you say, it's WWE. They're low rent...and then get all uppity when people say they're low rent.

I still watch impact week in week out, wwe though I just can't be bothered anymore, I'll go weeks without watching it then spend a few hours one day catching up with a few weeks by going over the stuff I want to see.

Need to watch more japanese wrestling as I always lose my gooseberry fool when I watch an intense NOAH or AJPW match.

Still trudging my way through raw. Noticed a we want puppies chant in the divas match :D

I can't decided if that attitude DVD is worth a look or not.

Also I noticed KK mentioned the possibility of them keeping back footage for an Austin v McMahon DVD. I thought there already was one with that same title, are they making a new one?

Yeah, there is. It was part of the Attitude Collection on DVD, which in turn was a re-release of an old VHS. I'm not sure if WWE are updating that (like they did the Brock Lesnar DVD) or releasing something brand new.

WWE Main Event Tapings

Main Event: Kane and Daniel Bryan defeated Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. Rhodes landed badly off a backdrop and seemingly may have suffered a shoulder injury or a concussion.

Michael Cole interviewed Dolph Ziggler, and The Miz got involved.

Match 2: Santino Marella pinned David Otunga.

WWE SmackDown Tapings

The Miz hosted Miz TV with special guest Mick Foley. They incorporated Team Foley and dissension was teased. Team Ziggler came out minus Cody Rhodes, who was injured during the Main Event taping. Foley said Booker T gave him the power to book matches.

Match 1: Damien Sandow defeated Kofi Kingston in a non-title match.

Match 2: Kaitlyn, Layla, and Natalya defeated Eve, Aksana, and Alicia Fox.

Match 3: Randy Orton and The Miz defeated Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler.

Booker T kicked Sheamus out of the building for going after Big Show. Booker booked Big Show in the main event and hinted that his opponent would be bigger than Show.

Match 4: Kane vs. Wade Barrett ended in a no-contest when Team Foley and Team Ziggler started brawling. Orton cleaned house with multiple RKO's.

Match 5: U.S. Champion Antonio Cesaro pinned Sin Cara. R-Truth was on commentary.

Main Event: World Hvt. Champion Big Show defeated The Great Khali. Sheamus attacked Big Show backstage afterwards.

so booker gave foley the power to book matches  seriously that's as bad as teddy coming out on raw to intervene in a segment on behalf of booker and because vickie was too busy. What is booker doing? He must be the laziest general manager ever. He has two people working for him carrying out his orders and now he gives someone else temporary power to make matches. And he was in the building the whole time so it's not like he had time off :fp:

Coupled with the .com chart, I think the WWE are intentionally mocking their own power structure now.

IMPACT WRESTLING LIVE Tapings 22nd November (Thanksgiving Episode)

Gutcheck Open Fight Night

Match 1: Wes Briscoe defeated Garrett Bischoff with a leg hook rollup. Kurt Angle came out to ringside to watch.

Joey Ryan came out and said that Hogan is trying to separate him and Matt Morgan. He challenges Chavo Guerrero and says Hogan can't separate the Tag Team Champions.

Match 2: Chavo Guerrero vs. Joey Ryan ends in a Disqualification when Chavo Matt Morgan interfered and chokeslammed Chavo. Hernandez ran down to make the save.

Match 3: Sam Shaw pinned Alex Silva with a modified Alabama Jam.

Eric Young & ODB are in Hogan's Office & want to issue the Turkey Suit challenge since its tradition. Hogan says he wants to be like Eric Young "when he grows up".

Match 4: TNA champion Jeff Hardy pinned Christian York in a Non Title match with the Swanton Bomb. After the match, Hardy respectfully clapped for York, before Bobby Roode came out and hit York with a Spinebuster. He then Speared Hardy and raised the title belt.

EY & ODB are still backstage. They bump into the two Robbie's. E says T's life has been miserable since he had to wear the suit last year. E wants to be challenged. Tara and Jessie walk in. EY says he should issue the ultimate challenge and fight them both.

Match 5: Tara beat Tayler Hendrix with the Widow's Peak.

Eric Young defeated Robbie E & Jessie Godderz with a rollup on Jessie. Jessie put on the Turkey suit. Aces and Eights came down & took out EY with a bat and hammer. EY gets stretchered out, so that may have been his storyline exit from TNA.

Main Event: AJ Styles pinned TNA Tag Team champion Kazarian following a Pele Kick.

Austin Aries came out for a promo. He says he hasn't been treated right. One man is responsible for that: Hulk Hogan. He calls out Brooke Hogan. He says he's sick of the Hogan's. He said that being a Hogan, it's hard to keep your private life and says Brooke probably hoped she'd become Brooke Trump or Brooke McMahon, and not Brooke Bully Ray. He says he has secret footage of them backstage (I guess that means we've come full circle in that WWE copied AJ Styles and Claire Lynch and now TNA are pinching AJ Lee and John Cena). Aries says Brooke shouldn't have to settle for a Turkey when Aries would have given her the Stuffing. Hulk comes out as does Bully Ray as Aries makes his exit.
