Despite Michael Cole's claim's of the brand split 'officially' coming into effect on next week's Raw, Dolph Ziggler vs. MVP for the United States Championship has been booked for next week's Smackdown.

Why are Batista and Priceless on Smackdown though, for the second week in a row!

The same can be said of Matt Hardy, Big Show, Maryse (who's defending the Raw Divas' title), Chavo Guerrero & MVP.

And over on Superstars Edge (SD) is facing Kofi Kingston (Raw).

It's a shambles.

I'll let them off, because the draft doesn't come into full effect till after Backlash, so God knows why they didn't do it the Monday after, but what's their excuse for Batista and Priceless.

I feel like I've seen this Backlash main event already. Randy Orton & Triple H twice in the space of 3 weeks, Batista, Shane & Triple H against Priceless last week, Batista & Ted on Smackdown, Shane against Cody on Superstars & now Batista & Shane Vs. Priceless again this Friday.

That's 6 bloody matches.

I always feel in situations like this that the bookers/writers/whoever believe that the wrestlers involved can't promote the fued without kicking the snot out of each other. The best fueds are the ones where the participants are kept apart from each other for the most part. It doesn't help that Wrestlemania still feels like it was yesterday though.

I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing that RAW being filmed in London doesn't seem like a big deal anymore. It certainly isn't treated as such on the show.

That would be amazing, of course we'd never get WM but any main event at Wembley would do.

Imagine Wrestlemania at Wembley

It will never ever happen. We'd be lucky to get another Summerslam.

Oh and yes that event was brilliant. So many good memories.

Dunno if anyone has heard about Jeff apparently wanting to leave very soon, stalling contracts despite being offered massive pay increases and more years. He wants to get away from the hectic lifestyle, which is why apparently he is probably going to lose the match with Matt. It's a huge shame as ever since he came back, hes worked hard to become a main eventer, and the fans have believed in him, to go away now, just seems like a waste of a huge chance.

Damn, that's terrible news. WWE to lose one more of their talented performers. :fp:

-- Raw did a 3.74 rating and 5.3 million viewers. Superstars last week did an 0.9, which is probably why it took so long to get out. That's actually a good number for WGN, believe it or not. Smackdown on Friday did a 2.0.

-- Regarding Bobby Lashley and TNA, as of yesterday afternoon he was not under contract to TNA, so if he signed it was sometime within the last 24 hours. He was not under contract when he debuted at the PPV.

-- Also, contrary to reports, Lashley vs. Bob Sapp is not official. Sapp has the contract but has not signed it yet.

-- As of yesterday, Paul London & Amazing Red were scheduled to debut as a tag team at Impact tonight. Dark Angel, aka Sarah Stock, is also backstage at the show.

-- We've got an interview up for members right now with Gabe Sapolsky talking everything you ever wanted to know about new Dragon Gate USA promotion, plus his thoughts on leaving ROH, adjusting to his new life this winter, and much more.

-- In a follow-up from last night's Wrestling Observer Radio (which is a FREE download for everyone if you have not checked it out yet), Jeff Hardy on his Facebook today (which is apparently a real account, although we've heard conflicting reports on that) said he might sign a new contract, but his old one isn't up until July and so for now he is taking it day-by-day. Whether that's his account or not, the gist of the story is true in that he has not signed a new deal yet. His recent losses to Matt Hardy have nothing to do with this as they were done to set up him getting his revenge in their PPV match Sunday. Of course, now that he hasn't re-signed he may not be winning Sunday after all.
