I'm secretly hoping that this means that the US Title regains some credibility. I doubt they'll want to beat Ambrose in a load of non title matches.

Of course, it could go the other way where he never defends it for 6 months and eventually loses it to Kofi again. :fp:

Looks like it's more than wwe.com trying to drum up news stories then. So it's either Ryback or RVD. RVD would be cool but wouldn't make sense, he would get a massive face pop.

RvD is one of the worst possible choices.

Anything to give Barrett some sense of direction :x

I thought they may have gone for Ryback if Lesnar had lost and Heyman could view him as a replacement/heir of sorts. Barrett is a good shout. Wouldn't mind it being someone like Cesaro. What will be interesting is A. how this new guy interacts with Lesnar (if at all) and B. whether it's someone that when Punk comes back he could potentially feud with. I think Punk/Heyman will split when he returns and we'll get another Punk face or tweener turn and who better for him to feud with than the new Heyman guy.

I would love for it to happen but at the same time would a, ahem, high flyer like RVD get on ok with certain company policies now?

Probably not.

The bigger problems for me is that he's past it and I'd rather see a young guy get the Heyman push.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was a NXT guy after the success of the shield.

Extreme rules was an odd one.

Extreme is a strong word for a start, there was little extreme there, although I'm kinda getting into the WWE again after a 13/14 year break.

was ok.

Jerico won which is always nice.

really need to get rid of that strawberry float bag Ryback, guy is a total balloon.
