McMahon & Savage supposedly left on bad terms in 1993 (an on-going rumour is that something happened with him & a very young Stephanie McMahon). He's never been seen on WWE TV since, & only occasionally features in video packages. A trailer & inclusion in WWE All Stars was the first time he'd collaborated with WWE in anyway - albeit on the behest of THQ.

A 3 Disc DVD was released, but was simply a collection of past matches, rather than any new footage or documentary (which usually features on these DVDs). You can count the amount of people Vince McMahon hasn't forgiven over the years on practically one hand.

I'm completely devastated, after over 10 years of not talking with Randy, we finally started to talk and communicate. He had so much life in his eyes & in his spirit, I just pray that he's happy and in a better place and we miss him. We miss him a lot. I feel horrible about the ten years of having no communication. The people at Slim Jim are "saddened" by the loss of their most famous spokesperson, Randy "Macho Man" Savage ... and have issued a statement to TMZ honoring his memory.

A rep for the snack tells TMZ, "We’re saddened by the loss. Randy was a beloved ambassador for the Slim Jim brand for many years and will be greatly missed."

The rep adds, "Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time."
