SilverVision have stated on Twitter that WWF: SuperTape 92 and 1992: The Year In Review won't be getting released onto DVD as the master copies are damaged. Hopefully that isn't the case for WWF: The Best of RAW Volumes 1 through to 13 when they get round to it.

We can all have a hearty laugh when The Rock vs. John Cena gets turned into a 3-way involving Kane.

Questin KKLEIN (you seem to know these things):Do they use master "tapes" for all the rereleases?Even slightly newer ones like WM15 to 18 that also originally came out on DVD?Ive the WM 2000 tagged classics DVD and the qulity isnt exactly DVD standard.

Yeah, it's basically the VHS tape (or reel) slapped onto a DVD. Unlike WWE, Silvervision don't actually have access to the genuine material. So you can either have the better quality but with numerous edits, or you can have the original Coliseum Home Video release with a noticeable dip in quality. Sometimes these Tagged Classic releases will 'roll' or fuzz out.

Either they've not stored them properly (like WCW - WWE actually asked a few years ago if anyone had any decent VHS copies of certain episodes of Nitro because they were complete write offs) or they've not transferred to hard drive/disc properly & are corrupted in some form.

Music rights seem to be a right royal pain in the arse, as there are numerous edits on new WWE tapes, that weren't on the original VHS version. On quite a few Coliseum Home Video releases, the sponsors & merchandise adverts are left in (King of the Ring with Super Soaker, Royal Rumble with 1800 Collect), whereas on others they're removed. Then there's the likes of the WCW Nitro DVD - Bishcoff's WCW theme is there in one clip, but dubbed over the next. TNT is removed on the on-screen graphics, but it's visible everywhere else. Can't make head nor tail of it.

Just listening to Review-a-Wai and how Al Snow managed to lose a match because his opponent attached a bottle of Head & Shoulders to the Head mannequin to justify pinning it for 3.

DR, have you not seen that PPV?!

Its pretty great. Obv the HIAC match is incredible, but Austin and Kane really put a decent match considering they had a near impossible task in trying to follow that. Shamrock winning the King of the Ring was pretty good too. Also, D'Lo Brown with an excellent Art Barr-esque frog splash at 6:33 here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owhfjn5MROU

I loved Mark Henry on Smackdown when he was talking to the Big Show backstage

"Now take your heavy breathing and slobbering somewhere else"

The Battle Royal they had showed just how weak the SD midcard is at the moment. Dare I say Otunga was the biggest star in it. If i didn't know the SD spoiler before had i would've been rooting for him to win it. Still can't believe thingy won it...I still think he'll get taken out before the Chamber match though. The Nattie fart angle carries on to be ridiculous. She actually looked impressive in her match...before the ref refused to make the call because he was overwhelmed by her fart :fp: Overall it was an okay-ish show i'd say.
