I had heard all about that before, but someone must have discovered an old VHS taping of the live airing in an attic somewhere as I've never seen the live footage. About as much wrestling on there as a regular edition of Impact...

Remember a Raw in 2006 where, right after the pyro, the power blew & they went to Ross & Lawler at the announce table in complete darkness. I think they then went to Lilian Garcia & her microphone wasn't working either. Hilarious start to the show. Just like WrestleMania 24, the opening Divas match (can't remember who) was in the dark.

Wow. That's very surprising. Was expecting at least a 3.7 or around that.

Wrestlemania 24 was outside so it would be quite a feat for the opening match to be in the dark.

He means the opening match from a Raw in 2006 which like the WM24 Divas match was in the dark.

Most the yanks were probably still at street parties or watching the news about bin laden.

You guys are gonna strawberry floating love this...

TNA iMPACT! spoilers.
Former WWE star Joanie "Chyna" Laurer is slated to debut as Kurt Angle's "mistress" that will help him in his feud with Jeff Jarrett and Karen Angle.

Powell's POV: The original plan was to use Lindsay Howard (a/k/a Isis the Giant), who had a brief run on the WWE NXT show, play the part, but it was determined that she was too green for the role. I'm surprised by this development simply because Chyna seemed to move on from wrestling.

Smackdown dark match. WWE :fp:
Shawn Daivari got a tryout tonight in Orlando, doing a full fledged Arab gimmick with a turban, against Ted DiBiase. DiBiase worked the match as a babyface.

America strawberry float yeah!

Just saw it on another site. I am going to love this. Wasn't she meant to be moving to Japan to teach school kids English?

I've been thinking, when I went to bed last night just as Raw was starting I was wondering if they were going to have R-Truth call conspiracy on the Osama Bin Larden thing (easy heel heat and all), I was surprised when I found that there was no such thing.

I also thought wouldn't this be the best thing ever.

Hassan was strawberry floating ace, probably one of my favourite heel characters in the last decade. I was shocked when I found out he was Italian-American

I read a good interview with him not long ago http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/201 ... 75686.html
