Yup. He was doing his "coiled viper" schtick, then all of a sudden, stopped, started holding his arm and then you could hear him telling Edge and the referee he couldn't do the RKO spot, so they threw the match out with the double count out.

What are the chances of that? sheer bad luck for Orton there.

I wonder if this'll be the end of his mat-punching Viper nonsense.

Cheers for filling me in on the info, mate. :)

Just read the results on wwe.com. By the looks of things, Cena/Batista was a good stunt-filled brawl. Glad I got my prediction on the Swagger match spot on. 8-)

Orton breaking his arm really couldn't have come at a worse time for the WWE. That's their top babyface on Raw out of action for 2 months. Though you never know, not being able to wrestle was to the benefit of Steve Austin in 1997...

It was terrible. Slow, plodding, and the fact that the match, an I Quit match, was stopped due to Cena slightly bleeding from the forehead... :fp:

The ending was also shite, and pretty much a carbon copy of a match Cena had with Khali a few years back.

In which case I'm glad I didn't pay money for it.

Dave Meltzer wrote:Cena and Batista are going to have to save the show because it's in the toilet right now.

Okay, really glad I didn't spend £15 on it...

Just seen the finish on DailyMotion (here). Striker going "Whoa!!!!!!" when Cena put him through the stage. That's seriously the best you can come up with? Only Jerry Lawler seemed mildly concerned. You can just imagine Matt Striker calling the Hell in a Cell match at King of the Ring...

"Whoa!!! Off the cage!" with a mild hint of humour attached.

Orton dislocating his shoulder: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xdf1np ... t-23_sport (3:25 mark). How embarrassing.

"Did you feel that....everything just changed!"

Striker's such a total fud. And, jesus god, why is the commentary so monotone these days?

Absolutely no emotion - how has this come about?

Over the limit review.

Yes I know I’ve done stupidly bad on the predictions but that aside.

Kofi V Drew - I don’t really care to honest.

Ted Dibiase V R-Truth – seriously they need to stop pushing R-Truth he is fricking awful, I can’t stand seeing his ugly mug on tv.

Rey V Punk – When are they actually going to let Punk beat Rey :x I can only assume that Rey will never join the straight edged society otherwise this storyline will go on for ever.

Hart Dynasty V Miz & Jericho – goo match with some nice spots. I really like both sides in this so wasn’t sure who I wanted to win, but it would have been stupid to have taken the titles of the Harts so soon.

Edge V Orton – Randy :fp: did he injury himself by smacking his arms on the canvas setting up for the RKO. Fair enough they went for a double count out, I can only assume Randy was going to win before the injury. I haven’t read anything yet but if he has done some bad damage then its not good news for WWE’s fastest rising face. However big returns after injury are always good tv.

Show V Swagger – the predictable Show win by DQ, not a bad match though, would like to see Show rewarded with the title soon. Also I can’t believe I forgot to change my prediction for this match. Idiot. :fp:

Maryse V Eve – meh, no puppies.

Cena V Batista – didn’t really watch it, but the result I thought would happen. Then Ronald McDonald turned up to attack Cena. Boring, he’s another person I can’t stand. :x

They could turn the broken arm into an advantage, after all, didn't his dad spend half his career with a cast on his arm?

But knowing them, they won't.

Depends on how bad it is. I'm guessing that it can't be that bad although it's not been confirmed so it could possibly be ligament as well which could possibly be worse as i would be surprised if the break is that bad having seen how he did it.

Directive from McMahon, apparently. It's a bizarre decision. Excitement & passion from a commentator is an integral aspect of any sport.

I can only presume Vince has been given a load of World of Sport tapes & thinks the monosyllabic drone of Kent Walton is amazing...

True, it is weird. Just taking Cole & King as examples. Watch them 10 years ago and they got so excited. Voice level pitches going up and down. It gets you caught up in the action, but now they rarely get excited. However when Orton got injured you could hear the concern in their voices. I can't imagine what Vince would have been screaming in their head sets then.

Well i'm really not looking forward to the GRAPL results. I think this will be my worst result every. Probably out of the tag battle first round as well after getting to the final last year

Rey Mysterio is going to be out 1-2 months following the Tuesday tapings. He wanted a holiday & apparently the WWE granted it.

So Orton's out, Batista's supposed to be off shortly, no Rey...& if the rumours of the new General Manager are correct, then what a crummy couple of months are ahead.

And how are they building up the Fatal Four Way PPV? Qualifying matches. How original. How revolutionary.
