I'm thinking of picking up a DVD, preferably from the attitude era although it's not essential. I want to get the best one that people think is out there, and seeing as we're quite similar I'm sure I can trust any opinions given.

Anybody have any recommendations?

Wrestlemania 2000
Royal Rumble 1999/2000
Royal Rumble 1997/1998
Survivor Series 1999/2000

The prices aren't bad but I usually wait around until they have a sale, and drop to £9.99 each. Also if you order three items they give you 10% discount (or at least they used to, it's been a while since I bought anything from there).

wwe.com wrote:In keeping with the April Fool’s Day tradition – not to mention, having some fun at the expense of his opponents in the Triple Threat Title Match at WrestleMania, World Champion Edge and Big Show – John Cena has confessed to being the mastermind behind the story of Vickie Guerrero’s pregnancy.

Long known to have a wicked sense of humor, Cena called the WWE.com offices to suggest that, as an April Fool's Day gag, we publish an article stating that Guerrero visited an El Paso, Texas obstetrician/gynecologist’s office for pre-natal care.

With April Fool’s Day landing so close to the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania, Cena’s prank will undoubtedly reverberate with Vickie’s husband Edge and her lover Big Show, both of whom had reason to question the paternity of a potential child.

If either Edge or Big Show needed any more motivation to pounce on Cena, that motivation has arrived. Especially since we join Cena in wondering what Vickie's offspring might look like if fathered by "The Ultimate Papa-tunist" ... ... Or "The Big Sire."

Thank strawberry float for that.

The WWE will be reverting back to the old 3 man announce booth at WrestleMania. JR, Jerry Lawler & Michael Cole will be calling the evening.

To be fair, as VINTAGE Micheal Cole announcing as calling spots as VINTAGE whoever goes, in recent weeks the open burial on TV by Cena and JR is at least an admittance than Cole's VINTAGE announcing is awful.

Although can they please shut Cole up during Taker's entrance at Mania please, that FOUR strawberry floating YEAR LONG stint of Cole's spiel about it being the MOST INTIMIDATING THING EVER when Taker resumed the deadman persona really grated on me, more so than anything else he said.

He literally adds nothing to an event. Infact, I often find that he ruins the atmopshere because he comes across like a guy that's not all that great and has to try really hard.
Why the strawberry float have the WWE not found any other commentators?

I too would like to see Heyman replace Tazz although i'm quite happy with the 3 man team for mania.

One thing about this yrs mania that i don't understand. Where is the gimmick match? you know that one off silly match? Big Show V Mayweather, Gimmick Battle Royal, Big Show V that big fat sumo guy, the throw away matches that don't mean anything but add a little to the spectical of mania. I'm assuming it was intended to be the Jerricho V Rourke match but obviously that didn't work out so we now have the legends.

Imo these matches are as much a part of mania as anything else. The idea of wrestlemania was to bring the wrestling world and the celebrity world together, that was a key ingredient to the original mania.

I'm a little annoyed coz i didn't come on the net for a few days and missed the talk about the dvd. Was it reduced in a sale or was it some kind of mistake? I don't get why it would be dropped to £2.99 then go back to £27.99. However dvd's like this just make me sad as it reminds me of the good old times.

Kurt Angle Film Trailer :fp:  It looks so cheesy and just awful - I cannot ever see that in the cinema so I'm guessing an america only dvd release. Although the co star who is also in TNA now, would get it 8-)

I want to see a film with Kurt Angle & John Cena in it, that would be so cool :shifty:

Was this film financed by TNA or something?

It was in their sale both in store and online, although it was apparently very limited stock-wise in stores and I only noticed it was online last Friday night and it was back up to full price by Saturday. I can only assume they were looking to get rid of some surplus stock or something.

Mine came this morning as well. Out of interest, did anyone else's arrive unsealed and with a small white HMV sticker (with the barcode and order details) stuck onto the front of the outer sleeve?
