More BREAKING NEWS. TNA strikes back.

TNA Impact Wrestling is going live all summer. TNA announced that the show will air live beginning May 31 when the show shifts to the 7:00 p.m. CT slot. The announcement states that it will "continue through the summer." TNA live will be interesting, I know their live shows in 2010 were horrible but I think they would have been terrible had they been taped.

3 hour raw though? Terrible move. It makes me question why we have Pay-per-view shows. Why pay for a 3 hour epic when you are supposively getting one every monday for free?

I have nothing to say. Nothing.

Lets play a game. Guess how many RAW episodes will be 3 hour before WWE figure out their mistake and move back to 2 hours.
I say after 12 weeks they will be thinking about dropping it if not sooner.

It's baffling that a business which relies on a weekly consumer base can make so many fundamental mistakes and be so out of sync with the core audience. It'd be interesting to see what would happen if people didn't tune in simply out of habit.

Give it a few months and you'll probably find out. :lol:

I'm struggling to get through two hours of Raw when it's recorded at the moment, I don't think I can cope with 33% more Cena.

The way things are today I think people could do with 25% less not 33% more.

3 hours could be alright, Lesnar will probably be back by then aswell!

Sod it, I'm going to say something because this is so strawberry floating absurd I can't quite believe it.

WCW when they took Nitro to 3 hours & introduced Thunder, the company was not only great, but Number 1 as well. WWE is already on the decline, never mind about a further hour.

How many times has it been repeated by EVERYONE in the wrestling industry - even down to Eric Bischoff himself - that taking Nitro to 3 hours & introducing Thunder in the same month was the worst thing they ever did. Fans tired of the product, which couldn't have been much hotter, and over exposed the roster to breaking point. A roster that was twice the size & filled with more star power than the current WWE.

Originally RAW IS WAR & Nitro used to attempt to break up the show by segmenting & changing up each hour. Either with a new intro, on-screen graphics, different music, alternating commentators, pyro kicking off the new hour, Nitro Girls...RAW currently is one solid block, with each hour feeling identical to the last.

They're going to have to change the look & format of the show...right?

One would hope that a change like this will be accompanied by a major revamp of the look and feel of the show.

All this means is it'll take me 15 minutes to flick through Raw instead of 10. Still, shocking idea.

Here's the Russo Hook: They've hired Brooke Adams and the extra hour is going to be filmed entirely in a stripped back set with no audience, where a slow-pan close-up follows her bodacious booty as she bounces on a strawberry jelly trampoline while Bill Withers' "Just the Two of Us" echos in the background.

Unfortunately that's been the case more and more recently. It's hard enough to get through their 3hrs specials at times.

Does this mean it's going to start at 1am instead of 2am?
