According to them, but i think they've got some of them wrong to be honest.

Well i did warn people not to look if they want to be surprised. I would prefer it too but i read it by mistake and i know some people aren't bothered if they know.

This is why I sometimes stuggle to take MMA seriously. Why on Earth is a competitive sport linked so heavily with 'sports entertainment'?

You should take MMA seriously. Why the awards are mixed together is baffling but it shows just how massive a hard-on Meltzer has for MMA.

MMA is the biggest thing in wrestling today. Even Vince McMahon, with his chase of Lesnar, must realise that.

I disagree with the mixing in most of those award categories, though.

Well I take MMA seriously in the sense that it's becoming massively popular and very much the in-fashion sport to follow, but the way it's promoted and coupled with pro wrestling is immature/undignified (take your pick). I'd prefer it as a sport if it didn't try to associate itself with over-the-top Americana machismo. Pro-wrestling is a performance art that needs a little melodrama, MMA is supposed to be a serious fighting sport.

How exactly does MMA associate itself with pro-wrestling?

I don't think that the UFC is too over the top. But even so, their formula really works. They pretty much beat WrestleMania's buyrate with every PPV.

A lot of their storylines are no different to the ones in boxing. I'm sure it does turn some people off, though.

Just wondering isn't the rumble in Boston this year? Has there been any stories about WWE struggling with the weather, as in getting equipment, staff there etc as the whole east coast of America is suffering from heavy snow fall at the moment.

I know that has been through my mind, with punk then winning the title at EC. However think how much more punk could be over with all the booing if he eliminates cena and wins. That's what I would go for.

Probably going to regret this, but I've changed my pick to Triple H winning the Rumble. After watching SD, I'd also changed the winner of the World Title match to Dolph Ziggler. They spent the whole show making him look like gooseberry fool, therefore has to win Sunday or is basically finished. You couldn't make a number one contender look any more undeserving - & that's not even factoring in Raw, where he was also taken out by Orton.

Normally I would agree about the ziggles thing but WWE doesn't seem to work like that anymore. They almost seem to enjoy burying someone when they are almost over. I would like him to win though.

They're doing to Ziggler what they did to Jack Swagger. I mean what face World Champion goes into a PPV with all the momentum...and then wins? They've thrown in that Edge can't use the Spear as a last minute stipulation, but that's just going to making Dolph look even more ridiculous if he doesn't.

They've had some rotten main events at the Rumble in the past (Hardcore Holly & Lesnar/Angle & Mark Henry), but Edge/Ziggler needn't have been the gooseberry fools. Holly & Henry spent years being useless, & they were never going to be taken seriously. Ziggler is a relatively new talent that they've put remarkable effort into making look like the world's most inept number 1 contender. All that momentum coming off his match with Cena? Out the door. Not only is Edge destroying him, they've thrown Orton (who isn't even feuding with him!) in there as well. WANKERS.
