Sounds good. I'd personally take the risk and book:

Undertaker vs Wade
Punk vs Cena
Miz vs Lawler (WWE Title). The crowds are into Lawler, and they believe in him. With the right storyline, WWE could have made millions with a final Flair world title shot; Lawler is a good enough substitute. He doesn't have to win. If Miz retains, I still don't think Lawler winning (from the number 40 spot) is that unbelievable. Not likely I know, but not quite as impossible as it should be.
Triple H vs Sheamus
Edge vs Del Rio (WH Title)
Diva Battle Royal with debut of Amazing Kong

strawberry float knows where Orton goes; more than likely in Lawler's place. I'd also save the Raw GM reveal for WM.

Triple H vs Undertaker with HBK as the referee would be pretty good, too.

I quite like all of that. I also don't mind the idea of Lawler winning the Rumble. 10 years ago it would have been a disappointment as there was only one main title and having Lawler go after it as the main event of mania would have been a let down. But now it's a very different world.

Personally i would have Lawler win it. Miz can win it back quite quickly within a month or something but I really don't think it would be a bad thing having Lawler win the title. I know there would be tons of comments about him devaluing the title, blah, blah, blah, but i don't agree.

If only The Miz and Lawler ladder match from a while ago was high up on a PPV card. *sighs* Was a brilliant match, and if they could do something similar I'd be all for that at Mania. :shifty:

Do we have any idea who the GM is eventually going to be revealed to be? I can't think of any obvious picks other than perhaps JR or Vince.

I think Michael Cole has built up his character recently to such an extent that he would make an awesome GM. It would also be the obvious twist.

Hopefully too obvious. I mean, he'd make a great heel GM, but I want a huge shock reveal.

I'm not sure about the GM. I can imagine it being a let down though. If it is Cole then i would find it a let down as it's gone on for so long and he has been the no.1 suspect since the start.

It would be good if it was JR but i don't see it. However i wouldn't rule out Vince.

Or Vince will just turn up one day and say that the mystery GM has been fired and they never mention it again.

Not that this matters, but Michael Cole as the mystery GM wouldn't make any sense. But then I doubt the WWE even know what they're doing, or who the GM is supposed to be. If this were a soap, it'd be the worst soap ever, so why not. Make him GM. Who cares if there's 1 billion plot holes.

I reckon the GM will be one of:

Cole
HHH
Vince
Bret Hart

It could be that cos of what happened with Nexus the board of directors wanted to keep Bret as GM but remove him from harms way hence the anonymous thing. Depends of course if Bret has any plans to work with them again as he seems to have vanished form TV again now..

Randy Savage would be a cool twist if it turns out they've properly made up and his WWE All Stars advert/appearance wasn't just a one time deal.

EDIT: Savage as a suprise Hall Of Fame inductee perhaps? They must be running low on big names they've not inducted without really going into dregs/people from years ago that hardly anyones heard of.. wonder if they'll eventually get to the point they'll add Warrior in too just to make the lineup look better that year.

Wishful thinking, sadly. :(

Come off it you lot, you know as well as I do that whenever Vince returns to TV he'll say something about the mystery GM being fired and it'll never get mentioned again.

Hall Of Fame is close to selling out at the moment so it won't matter I guess.. :shifty:

You still can't order the Royal Rumble Live on Sky Box Office & Box Office HD. Very odd. :?

I'm starting to feel like I'm too old to watch wrestling, I am sick of WWE. With Cena/Orton/HHH all stale and in the main event all the time, the whole PG gooseberry fool that makes every match look the same and makes Raw/Smackdown/PPV's boring, the lack of tag team wrestling. Everything is just boring at the moment, I have Raw downloaded and I am not even bothered to to watch it, plus one of my favourite nights is Sunday and I'm not even a bit excited about it.

If it turns out to be HHH winning on Sunday or Cena/Orton in the WM main event, I think it's time to give it up and just watch Attitude era DVD's to remember the good times of wrestling.

I reckon the mystery GM is Rikishi.

It would make sense, what with him being the one that ran over Stone Cold Steve Austin.
