Aside from the great Christian/Orton match, I thought it was a pretty bad PPV. It felt like an episode of Raw and that main event was just horrendous. End this Miz v Cena feud now before it makes Miz look like more of a joke, if that's even possible thanks to the current booking. Looking forward to Del Rio being made to look weak and pathetic against Cena in their inevitable feud.

Highlight of the night was easily Punk's Macho Man tributes.

Christian & Randy Orton was brilliant, probably one of the best matches Orton has ever had.

R-Truth’s opening promo was great, & it’s good to see the WWE actually putting someone over with no shenanigans & no nonsense for a change. He simply won…which is more than The Miz has done.

Sin Cara & Chavo was a good SD match.

And they finally delivered on the pay-off for the seemingly never-ending Lawler/Cole feud.

Rest of the show was God-awful, with a main event I wouldn’t even classify a match, more a RAW angle that went on far too long. I have no intention of ever seeing it again in my life-time. Whoever put that together needs reprimanding. They've utterly destroyed Miz. He was made to look stupid on RAW, & he was made to look cowardly, weak & epically stupid last night. Here's a guy that beat up Cena two-on-one for 20 straight minutes, & then managed to lose in about 2. They even booked it so, were this a normal match, he still would have lost in 2 minutes because Cena hit him with the FU right off the bat.

As a freebie it was adequate, as a PPV it was the gooseberry fools.

Orton vs Christian was actually quite good. Bookers commentating makes WWE 100% less boring. Probably won't bother to watch the rest.

Looking forward to Cena being all smiles and jokes on Raw tonight after one of the biggest beatings I've seen in a long time.

Rumours about Cena's next feud:
CM Punk.

According to a prominent member of the WWE staff, Cena is a big fan of Punk's, and thought WWE could have gotten a lot more out of Punk during his run with Randy Orton.

With Punk reportedly in a contract dispute with WWE (his contract expires at the end of the Summer, and he has not elected to sign a new agreement), Cena went to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon with a similar pitch to how Cena worked Chris Jericho's final program when Jericho first took a leave of absence from WWE.

While WWE hopes Punk will eventually stay with the company, it looks like his exit will come at the hands of John Cena should he decide to leave.

Of course, with Punk being in a feud with "The Champ," WWE has the option to offer Punk a title run in order to sweeten the offer for him to stay.

"This is going to be interesting to watch," another key WWE insider told us this evening, "Punk is very smart, and Cena understands WWE politics better than anyone other than HHH and Undertaker. A feud between the two of them may be the smartest thing WWE can do to get Punk to stay!"

WrestleZone is the first to report the impending Punk vs Cena feud, and will keep you up-to-date on this breaking story as it develops.

As soon as the PPV finished last night, the first thought that popped into my head was "I can't wait for RoH's TV deal to start".

Glad I decided to go to bed during the main event now. :|

A Mick Foley Tweet gave me a chuckle this morning. In response to this from The Rock
In the famous "I QUIT" match, I handcuffed Mick Foley and bashed his face 14xs w a steel chair. He bled. I won.

He put

Maybe so, but 2 days later, I trapped @TheRock under a pallet of beer kegs to win the WWE strap in an Empty Arena Match aka TNA house show.

Best part of last night's PPV was the demonstration of Mason Ryan's AMAZING set of acting chops

Think I did pretty well in GRAPL too.

Sin Cara is strawberry floating awful. How many things has he botched now? I don't give a gooseberry fool how good Mistico was, in WWE he's gash.

And did nobody else hear Booker T bury John Cena with a line along the lines of "...with limited ability and talent Cena continues to win the WWE title"? I can't believe he said that

It's actually amazing just how many wrestlers were missing off this show.

Alberto Del Rio, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, Evan Bourne , Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, Sheamus...instead they opted for the likes of Kane, Big Show, Ezekiel Jackson, Chavo, Mason Ryan, Alex Riley & Michael Cole.

They jobbed out their own undercard.

Aside from that amazingly true-but-likely-to-get-him-in-trouble comment about Cena, Booker T was strawberry floating awful on commentary last night.

I actually thought Ezekial Jackson did pretty well in his match. He's at least 35% better than Ahmed Johnson. Wade made him look good too.

The Orton-Christian match was absolutely brilliant. I hope this is a long feud.
