Hopefully a Punjabi Prison show!

Wait what? Sorry not been reading as much as I should have.

He's coming in sometime during the summer for a while - rumours suggest as an extended Guest Host. He's said in recent interviews he wants to revert back to Attitude era stuff. How that's going to work out with a PG rating remains to be seen.

Really? I didn't think he had the time to do it.

I think he didn't have time to appear before wrestlemania due to filming commitments, but rumours are that he is free for the summer. Also i think the comment he made was that he wants to make an edgier product so that will probably mean a couple of innuendo jokes and the occasional use of the word candyass.

Also i'm just watching the last ECW on tape delay and i have no idea who half these people are. Also is Abraham Wasington actually a wrestler? from what i know he is a talkshow host on ECW and the GM for FCW.

That's The Rock's whole shtick anyway. I doubt he'll do any wrestling though, although most people would mark out if he just laid someone out with the Rock Bottom & People's Elbow.

Abraham Washington is a wrestler, but I hear he's a pretty lacklustre one at that. I'd rather see him get squashed in a match than endure another edition of the Abraham Washington show. *shudder*

If Rock wrestled one more match it should be against Cena or Michaels and I'd love to see either of those. I doubt it'll happen though, would be a good final match like Rock/Hogan should have been Hogan's final match.

Or Jericho, to make up for the disappointment that was the 2002 Royal Rumble match. Not that it was in any way bad, but those two can do so much better. It would be quite fitting if the Rock came back and left for good after a feud with Jericho - Y2J's countdown clock ended and he made his WWF debut in the middle of a Rock promo.

Isn't his film career is going down the tubes?

Advertising spot from TNA:

They need to get it airing during Raw again.

Would have been better with this playing in the background:

Dip the volume slightly of the second video & run both together (the second from about 40 seconds). EPIC STUFF!

It's what happens when you become far too familiar with Attitude Era Production music...

I watched the TNA vid & thought of "Hostage" straight away.

:fp:

(If I knew what I was doing I'd combine both & stick it back on YouTube)

I don't think it's awful, and I do think Kennedy is alrightish, but he seems too cartoonish.

There's something of the Billy Gunn about him.

There has been a lot of controversy this week about me mentoring Daniel Bryan on WWE's new show, WWE NXT.

I've read a lot of interviews, blogs, ect. about the matter and they all seem to be asking the same thing. "Why is The Miz mentoring Daniel Bryan when Daniel Bryan has wrestled all over the world for 10 years plus?"

It's come to my knowledge that some members of the WWE Universe think they know everything about WWE and what it takes to be a WWE Superstar. They think that if a guy does well in the independent minor leagues, then all of a sudden he should be in the WWE.

They think that if a guy can main event in front of a hundred people at a bingo hall, then he's ready to main event at WrestleMania. Just because fans on the Internet say you’re ready doesn't mean you really are.

Just because a fat guy with no teeth who sits in the front row, buys your T-shirt and says you're the king of wrestling, doesn't mean you really are.

What the WWE Universe doesn't understand is there is so much more then I can describe in a single blog involved in being successful in the WWE.

My job is to make Daniel Bryan a star in the WWE, because let's face it, if you look at a picture of him right now, do you think STAR?

No, Daniel Bryan looks like my accountant ... ordinary and bland.

Maybe if he had The Miz's charisma and look, he would have been in the WWE by now. Don't hate on me because it didn't take me a decade to get a WWE contract and go down in WWE history to be the first Superstar to win the United States Title and Unified Tag Team Titles.

Don't get me wrong, Daniel Bryan has all the talent in the world, but every wrestler has weaknesses. And that's what my job is, to find his weakness and make him the biggest star possible.

I just hope Daniel Bryan doesn't believe himself what these ignorant members of the WWE Universe believe about him, or WWE NXT is going to be a nightmare for him.

MIZ

Now my views on this are mixed, one thing how dare the strawberry floating Miz say gooseberry fool like that.

- If he's in character it works and is a good statement, but he can't compare the two careers, Danielson has already been under WWF and WWE under development contracts, and has been wrestling for over a decade. The Miz however got lucky with a television program, he didn't pay his dues ala the way Danielson has, plus the guy trained with HBK.

- But he has a point, its taken Danielson ten years to get into WWE properly, (But it took Jericho, Foley, Austin a long time as well) it took Miz seemingly a few months, and I understand where he comes from in that angle, but if that statement is not in character and is a shoot, is incredibly disrespectful to someone who is one of if not the best technical wrestler in the world and I could imagine a few of the older guys in WWE taking offence to such an attack. And its a very outrageous statement, sure he doesn't have the most charismatic look, but neither did Benoit, Austin..etc.. The wrestling business is based on respect, and he doesn't appear to have any

Yep pretty naff, far too over the top and pretty poor delivery. It reminds me of Cena's kiddy promo's and really shows up how scripted many wrestling promos are today.

Jim Ross did allude to Miz's attitude on his blog...he was booted out of the locker room, after all.

Didn't he claim that was because he was eating chicken or something?
