WWE.com has updated their PPV schedule and it looks like Backlash, Judgment Day, and The Bash are history. Here is the updated schedule...

April: Extreme Rules
May: Wild Card
June: Fatal Four Way
July: Money in the Bank

*braces for gooseberry fool storm*

strawberry floating Fatal Four Way?

A Money In The Ban PPV, Jesus.

Then again it doesn't sound as bad as Wild Card, what the strawberry float is that gooseberry fool.

There goes one of the flagship matches for WrestleMania, then. WWE had a similarly named PPV in February 1997 called Final Four which was headlined by Bret Hart, Steve Austin, Vader & Undertaker.

These PPVs, along with their names, are so devoid of creativity it's unbelievable. They've looked at TNA's Lockdown concept (which is awful) & deployed it throughout 9 of their events.

I'm actually glad there wont be a MITB at 'Mania. Was getting bored of it there, on another PPV is fine with me but not one dedicated to it :fp:

I wouldn't be so sure we won't see the MITB at Mania. If it is there, expect the winner to cash in that night. It would have to be the (edit: missed the word 'last' out here) Mania MITB, though.

Just like I've been saying for ages, HHH gets 2 main events that night and wins both 8-)

One Money in the Bank match? DON'T BE STUPID, LET'S HAVE TWO!

Pray Wild Card isn't WCW's disastrous Lethal Lottery/Battle Bowl concept - an event so awful it's never drawn any money on PPV (& WCW tried it 4 times!) & resulted in some of the most boring Battle Royal's you've ever seen in your life (you try sitting through the entire thing on the Best of Starrcade DVD. I'm convinced WWE just put it on the disc to take the piss).

With rumours that Undertaker, Shawn Michaels & Chris Jericho will all be taking time off after WrestleMania, The Rock really can't arrive soon enough, huh?

Yup. Anything random, or pretending to be random, is normally awful, perhaps aside from the draft. Like that stupid "Spin the wheel" crap, where match types are just thrown out there. That defeats the point of gimmick matches; they should be used when normal match types fail in one regard (interference leading to a cage match for example), not just thrown out there randomly. Most are dangerous and wrestlers need to be treated with respect by making the matches a big deal, which WWE did for about 5 years. Now they've gone mad.

5 HITCs on one card wouldn't draw as much as one HITC between 2 people with a good feud.

And he's awesome!!!!

In all serious, how will the MITB ppv work? I hope they don't have 2x matches, one for RAW & one for SD, only allowing them to cash in on their brands champion. That will be overkill but i really wouldn't put it past them.

I think it should remain as part of mania and stay there. It should only ever be used once a year, keeping it fresh.

I wonder what they've got for the end of October/November? WWE: Handicap Match, WWE: Pinfall or just WWE: Matches.

He's coming in sometime during the summer for a while - rumours suggest as an extended Guest Host. He's said in recent interviews he wants to revert back to Attitude era stuff. How that's going to work out with a PG rating remains to be seen.

It was an amazing match but 8 years ago at WrestleMania, Hogan looked strawberry floated and the sweat was dripping off him. Can he honestly still go?

Oh FFS, SPOILERS!

It's not a spoiler, they've already started promoting it :fp:

I think he didn't have time to appear before wrestlemania due to filming commitments, but rumours are that he is free for the summer. Also i think the comment he made was that he wants to make an edgier product so that will probably mean a couple of innuendo jokes and the occasional use of the word candyass.

Also i'm just watching the last ECW on tape delay and i have no idea who half these people are. Also is Abraham Wasington actually a wrestler? from what i know he is a talkshow host on ECW and the GM for FCW.
