I really hate the USA! chant.

It's tough for the crowd to care if there's no Americans in the match.

Can't believe they didn't bring back Don West to do commentary at Destination X.

Personally i think you should give it another watch all the way through :) He mentions the odd catchphrase but for the most part he's really just ripping into Cena and answering back to some of the comments he's been making. Like mentioning how and why he gets booed in his own home town for a start  I thought it was a pretty good promo to be honest.

Cena's response will no doubt attempt to rip into the Rock for AGAIN not being on Raw/house shows. Then again i wouldn't be surprised if he just tries to brush off the Rock's comments and goes back to focusing on Punk.

Punk has already mocked the promo via twitter with a 'via satellite' jibe.

"The Rock Brings It via satellite"

Probably the funniest thing Cena's ever said.

WWE RAW Ratings Breakdown for the 4th July 2011

The show did a 2.4 rating, making it the lowest rated RAW since 13th October, 1997. Based on television viewership, on any other night this show would have most likely done a 2.9.

Quarter 2: Lost 253,000 viewers (Eve Torres & Kelly Kelly vs. Bella Twins)
Q3: Lost 130,000 viewers (David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty vs. Santino Marella & Kozlov)
Q4: Gained 26,000 viewers (Sgt Slobber vs Jack Shagger)
Q5: Gained 59,000 viewers (#1 Contenders match between Del Rio vs Rey Mysterio)
Q6: Lost 14,000 viewers (Vickie/Dolph/4th July celebrations)
Q7: Gained 94,000 viewers (Miz vs Alex Riley)
Q8: Gained 1,110,000 (Vince McMahon/Cena), to close the quarter on a 3.1.

WWE RAW Ratings Breakdown for 11th July 2011

Show did a 2.9. Many people watching seemed to absolutely hate this programme. If you think about it, the matches on paper did suck.

Quarter 1: Things kicked off at a 3.1.
Q2: Lost 475,000 viewers (Cena vs Nexus)
Q3: Lost 4,500 viewers (Mark Henry video/ Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Vickie Guerrero, Vince McMahon backstage segment)
Q4: Lost 128,000 viewers (Kelly Kelly vs. Melina).
Q5: Gained 382,000 viewers (Money in the Bank promos)
Q6: Lost 274,000 viewers (6 man tag)
Q7: Lost 281,000 viewers (Big Show vs Dolph Ziggler/Drew with Mark Henry interference) to take the show to a 2.6.
Q8/Over-run: Gained 1,346,000 viewers (Vince/Punk/Cena) to close on a 3.5. Though in all honesty, you can probably attribute a lot of that to people tuning in for the next programme. RAW was over-running by a good 15 minutes.

But didn't Rock basically ruin Cena's argument? It just seems like he didn't listen at all. I'm baffled by this whole back and forth.

So true. They've got the making of a classic here, I really hope they don't mess it up.

A tweet from Powerslam yesterday made a good point:

I will state that if WWE keeps Punk's name alive on TV after he leaves, he will be far bigger, if he returns in, say, September or October.

Unless he does actually leave for good, then this build up will all be for nothing if he turns up the next night on RAW. Fingers crossed they have something bigger lined up for later on.

There's no chance in hell (lol) that they would let Punk say the stuff he's been saying if he was leaving the company and never coming back. He'll be back.

And like I was saying back in March, Punk/Cena should have been the WM main event. As hot as this feud is right now, if it was happening on the Road the Mania it would be been incredible.

Rock is a thousand times more entertaining than Cena.

I like Cena, but he needs to take a break.

I liked that Rock promo but it probably should have been saved for a live show. He wasn't so charged this time.

From the latest Wrestling Observer:
For what it’s worth, Colt Cabana, who Punk mentioned on the air again (leading to “Colt Cabana” chants from the Boston crowd), has told at least one promotion he’s worked with regularly that he’s not taking any more dates with them after next month. He also was involved in an injury angle that could write him out of NWA Hollywood. In addition, he did not sign an ROH contract. Cabana, Chris Hero and Claudio
Castagnoli are the only key wrestlers who haven’t signed new ROH deals that were still being used. Hero and Castagnoli are still expected to be WWE bound even though they are advertised for the first ROH TV tapings in Chicago next month, as they are doing the pre-signing procedure of getting the full physical and having their backgrounds checked.

A Kings of Wrestling stable in WWE lead by Punk

The only problem with that is Colt Cabana can never be booed, but you can never cheer Chris Hero - it'd be too weird
