Can't believe that I'm gonna be on holiday for mitb as well :fp: hopefully will still have access to the net but won't know till I get there. I will also potentially miss grapl

Yeah just finished watching it myself. I'm glad Vince has been brought into this storyline, personally i love his character. It goes without saying but what's helping to make this storyline so great is the fact that they continually make references to "real life" stuff that's happened. Bryan firing, other Wrestling promotions, PG Era, etc.

I don't know why...but now i get the feeling Punk's going to stay. I think Vince will screw Cena and cost him the match and Punk becomes the champ while aligning himself with Vince. With Cena given a few months off, Vince and Punk will run the WWE/cause chaos and then in a few months time, Stephanie and HHH come back and announce that they're rehired Cena and they're going to put a stop to Vince and Punk's reign of terror...

Isn't he the guy that was trying to win a contract at Destination X by competing in that X Division tournament?

Good to see it never mattered if he won or lost.

I think that was someone else. He was in the original ECW and had brief spells with WCW and WWE as well as TNA before.

He's also another person on the TNA roster on the wrong side of 40.

Vince McMahon really has aged in the last few years though, hasn't he. Bit sad, actually...for some reason you expect him to continue looking like he did in the 90s. Almost as if he's some sort of immortal.

Even acknowledged his "old man hair", which has never been the same since Trump shaved it all off.

He needs to lay of the tan a bit too. I'm surprised Punk didn't rip him for that.

They even made a point of his bad breath all evening, which I think may just be an inside joke in regards to how much coffee he drinks.

I'll also be missing it. Very doubtful there'll be net connection unless there's a cyber café type thing in the area.

It was Kash, he was in the Aries/Rave match at the very start

Apparently he might have signed as backstage staff and not as a wrestler; which I hope is true because we don't need him on our screen

Haven't seen it on here yet but has anyone seen Rock's latest 'promo'?

Quite good I think, you can see he has been influenced by Punk's recent promo sensation.

That came across as pretty heelish.

Good to hear we'll be seeing him before Mania. When is WWE next at Madison Square Garden?

Survivor Series I think.

Good promo. Least they're acknowledging the differing support for Rock/Cena.

I was looking forward to Summerslam returning to MSG, but the WWE changed their mind & pushed it to the Survivor Series (though saying that, the last time they were there in 2002, the show was fantastic).

Kid Kash is a fantastic wrestler, scares the gooseberry fool out of you in real life, the reason he'll of been hired will be to put over new guys, help them become established and look strong. Too many people condemn signing older talent, but there experience backstage as well as in the ring is invaluable. Especially on shows you don't see like the house shows.

I quite like Kash. Even if he's used in a backstage capacity he can be a lot of help to the younger stars.

Older stars are more than welcome imo. As long as they're not having a detrimental affect on the up-and-coming stars and aren't the focus of the promotion they can give the rub with a loss and offer advice to those that need it. Of course, stars like Hogan should stay out of the ring and focus on making the product seem legitimate to the masses and longterm fans who'll remember him.

That is quality, why don't they post this on WWE.com as well so that more people see this. Surely that will help with the build.

TBH i watched around 5 minutes of it earlier today and turned it off, it was the same Rock gooseberry fool, I love The Rock, but there's only so much of "run your mouth" "ass" I can tolerate. : :(

Personally i think you should give it another watch all the way through :) He mentions the odd catchphrase but for the most part he's really just ripping into Cena and answering back to some of the comments he's been making. Like mentioning how and why he gets booed in his own home town for a start  I thought it was a pretty good promo to be honest.

Cena's response will no doubt attempt to rip into the Rock for AGAIN not being on Raw/house shows. Then again i wouldn't be surprised if he just tries to brush off the Rock's comments and goes back to focusing on Punk.

A research group is holding invited focus groups in New York City asking men and women from 18-54 who are WWE fans or former WWE fans to talk about the WWE product including what they like and why they've stopped watching if they are lapsed fans.

The groups are an attempt by the company to figure out ways to bring fans back and identify problems in the way the current product is promoted and marketed.

Should have invited this entire thread...
