Did not expect Punk winning, did he get booed for doing this over Hardy?

I really enjoyed the ppv, thought it was actually very good, one of WWE's best ppv's for quite a while. Think i did ok on the predictions but got a few crucial ones wrong. However i did also correctly guess that Punk would cash in the MITB in June as well 8-)

Also was that actually the first time Dreamer has won the ECW title, i assumed he had it before in ECW yrs back but they were acting like it was his first time.

And yes Punk did get booed for cashing in, Punk has been getting a mixed reception for a while now. I wonder if he will be turned heel?

I can't even remember what I predicted for Punk's cash in, think it was August or something. :fp:

Haven't checked all the results to my answers yet but I think I did okay.

Both me and Crop (my partner) got 10/14 by what I can gather.

Still unsure of a few things though.

That ending had me mentally throwing garbage in the ring. Unfortunately, the current crowd are the wrong type of tossers.

For those that missed this piece of info last night:

According to PWInsider.com, Batista is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday morning for a torn bicep, which he sustained prior to his match with Randy Orton at 'Extreme Rules' and was a likely factor for the match being so fast.

Batista just came back from a hamstring injury at the beginning of April and it is no secret that he was rushed back to TV and asked to work a full schedule with house shows.

One would expect an angle to be shot Monday night on 'Raw'.

Hard luck for him.

Why did they allow him to win the title then? :fp:

Lucien wrote:Everyone goes on and on about Hunter trying to break Ric Flair's title reign numerically, but at this rate Edge is going to far surpass him, having won a major title 372 times by the end of his career [my estimate, although he would have only held the titles for around 23 days]

Edge is awesome though.

And no wonder Jeff wants to leave, he gets strawberry floated over constantly every time he finally gets the World title.

Aaah he hasn't then, I thought he had but that's much later information than I had.

Terrible night on predictions for me. Decent show though - Jericho/Rey was epic, and of course Punk winning again was great.

Lucien wrote:I remember looking at your predictions Zellery, and when I found out the results this morning I thought, 'I'm pretty sure he put a 'pin' victory for CM Punk, for Christian to win, and for Vickie to win'.

Then I went back to check after you said you'd got 10/14ish and saw you'd edited them in enough time to get those three points. :(

That's what champs do baby. 8-)

Kudos for getting Cropolite to get past his GRAPL grudge and play again.

Oh right, probably why he wasn't interested in discussing predictions in pm then.

Thanks for posting then Croppy.
