The place seems to be filled with morris dancers for some reason though, Jenuall would be in his element, he loves the jingle of bells and the clonk of wood on wood.

Would it hurt Vermi, every once in a while for the four of us to get together for a Morris Dance? But no, every time I suggest it you pretend to be ill!

Weather app says thunderstorms now but its very clearly not, its clouded over a little, kind of glad this is the worst of this mini heatwave, its not been too bad once I've finished work, which is pretty miserable when its too warm

Well, actually, we went on a fishing holiday instead, we tried to wake you but couldn't.

That's not quite true. He only loves it when there's also a massive erect pole for all his friends to enjoy.

The amount of massive house spiders about at the moment :dread:
Capturing and then releasing them near the neighbours gardens :shifty:

It's not often that Jen gets a double polaroid.

Haven't had any really big ones so far thankfully, the only intruder in here so far was one which was around the size of a £5 coin, and by his own ineptitude, got himself stuck in an empty cup i had lying around.

All that was needed was a bit of card to place over the top as he'd already done the hard part for me.

Looking at the rainfall map on the MetOffice, there's a lot of it coming. Particularly over Wales, where a giant rain cell will at one point deliver its watery goodness to most of the entire country. Thank God the heat is almost gone.

Fine, a bit smaller than a round teabag then.

Rain is forecast here today and it's supposed to be a bit cooler, i bet it's hell again in Jawaland though.

Rained overnight and this morning and the temps have dropped 5+ degrees.

Already feeling more glum that what little glimpse of summer we've had is over

We spent 9 hours outside. Got a bit of sunstroke, was feeling a bit sick in the night.

It's not as warm here (24 degrees) but it felt much warmer.

House spiders are called house spiders because they live in houses.

Putting them in the garden kills them.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

It'll be some shitty commemorative coin he's picked up.

I was once given a two pound coin that commemorated the 1986 Commonwealth Games. Came sealed in a presentation box.

Broke it open and spent it sometime in the early 90s, probably on drugs.

The joke's on me though because I just checked and today that coin would be worth £3!
