House spiders are called house spiders because they live in houses.

Putting them in the garden kills them.

ands I threw them at me neighbours house, it likely ran up the wall and went in their window.

They don't just live in houses either, they like any rocky/woody secluded dark corner they can find, especially in garden sheds and greenhouses.

Had some light rain here a few hours back compared to how humid it was earlier its def cooled down still warm but can tell its cooled down a few degrees and is not as abrasive as earlier. It has been cloudy here and the heavy rain has been around the Thames Valley just not yet hit my area with a full on downpour or thunderstorm. I expect we will get that either tonight or tomorrow

Whilst we've had some wet weekends this Summer, for the most part since early May really it's been very very warm and sunny a lot of the time. It makes living in a new building unbearable in the heat, it just traps it all inside. I for one am thankful for a bit of rain today

It's about 19c outside. I've got the two windows I have absolutely wide open to hopefully try and let as much of that cooler air in as possible. Could really do with some wind to help though. The aircon unit helped me during the day, but as soon as you turned it off about 20 minutes later the inside temp went up about 2-3c again so it became unbearable and I can't use it in my bedroom so sleeping has been a nightmare.

Honestly after this weekend it feels like either my body is no good with varying temperatures or the thermometers are broken. The thermometer in my room yesterday while I was running my AC for 3 hours at 19c (with the window sealed fully apart from the aircon pipe) my room was still saying it was 25c although it felt much cooler than that. :slol:

Slight breeze and lower temp. Today is perfect.

Certainly an improvement today, it's currently cloudy with a few drops of rain in the wind, and there's a nice cool breeze coming through the window.

I can see my breath in the air this morning. Dare I dream that we have survived the heat death .

It's hotter and even more humid than Jawa's armpit in London today! It's bad enough north of the river but I hate to think what it must be like in jawaland.
