Results today did not go well...

Thank strawberry float for Hearts beating Ross County, this is going to be a helluva tight run in to that place off spot.

I watched the re-run on BBC Alba.

I'm not on the wind-up, but Hibs were awful today. You could be in more trouble than I thought. I'm surprised Butcher hasn't worked out for you. Though, he took ICT down initially. :|

The league is crazy close for the playoff though. Most exciting post-split run in ever. The playoff system has made the league 100% better.

Ah gooseberry fool I would've recorded it if I'd known it was on Alba.

Read a couple of match reports, I feared the worst for our performance after seeing your lot were down to 10 men for most of the game.

Agreed on that point though the league would be pointless for 5 teams if they hadn't implemented this.

Poetic justice.

Hibs to win 5-1.

Wouldn't mind seeing Ross County go down, their highland novelty has worn off.

How would beating us 5-1 in a meaningless game for us be "poetic justice"?

Hibs ARE a huge club with huge potential, I stand by that, proudly.

I didn't say they were going to win loads of trophies, especially not anytime soon. They have the best set-up in Scotland except for Celtic and Rangers, they'll get it right eventually. The potential is definitely there. In the mean time you can enjoy your away days in Dumbarton and the Ramsden Cup.

Indeed I will, especially if Hibs come down with us. The competition will be fierce next season.

The championship is going to be awesome (well..not awesome) next season. Rangers and Hearts, and another SPL team. With the way McCoist has Rangers playing, it could be tight. I'm assuming Hearts and whoever else goes down will be desperate for an immediate return to the top. Rangers seriously need to sort out their defence. Jig is past it, and Mohsni's head is in the clouds more than half the time. And Daly needs replaced. He's not a bad footballer, but he's looked shattered since late last year. If we can sign a decent defender and a good striker, we should be ok. Need some monies though. :slol: Shiels, Templeton, Wallace, Black, Law, Bell etc are all good players, definitely better than most players in the Championship, they've just been playing shite because they spend most of the time watching the ball fly over their heads on route to Daly. Fraiser Aird is terrible most of the time, he's never going to make it at Rangers. I don't know why he takes the corners, they rarely go past the first defender. The only thing he has is pace, but he hardly ever actually takes on a man.

It will be more exciting than the Premiership, in my opinion. I hope Aberdeen make more of a push to actually gave Celtic a few worries. Just a shame Morton are going down. They really strawberry floated things up for themselves. Almost made it to the SPL, and then their owner gooseberry fools it and basically accepts relegation. If they had just managed to stay up, they'd make a killing against Rangers and Hearts. Can't see them gaining promotion to the championship for years now. Not that I'm a fan or anything, but they are my local team, so there's a little bit of interest there.

I'm honestly more excited about next season than I was this season. We were given something to fight for this season and we came up short. Our team (apart from 3 or 4 pleayers) are all under 22 years old. If we can sign a couple of decent journeymen for next season and keep the majority of our players I think we'll be in for a shout at 2nd. I'd like to see us compete for the title but I am realistic.

With Rangers and Hearts being the star attractions next season, I think the SPFL will be able to push the price up for TV rights to games. Could see all teams in the league getting a fair bit of money.

Can't wait to officially get out of admin and start the new season.
