You guys

Lennon's contract is up and I think it's best all round if he goes. He's a likeable chap and could still lead us to our highest ever SPL finish. But our squad needs a total rebuild (McGinn, Goodwin, Gowser, McLean, Newton could all go; that's our entire starting midfield) and DL doesn't have the transfer record to justify entrusting with that job.

Wouldn't mind seeing Connor Newton at Celtic, he could cope nicely.

Having watched a lot of st Mirren this season due to work. I can safely say that they will be staying up this season Friday against partick should be a good game. As for who is going down I think its hibs that the worst hibs team I have seen in my puff struggling against 10 men for an hour is poor.

Im not a great follower of scottish football but ive been reading a bit about rangers recently. I understood that after being liquidated they started again from scratch without any debts. If that is the case then how the hell did they get so badly in debt again this quickly?

I swear I didn't put him up to this.

Without trying to bait anyone, they have continued to pay well over the odds for players. They've been competing with SPL teams on wages. It was never sustainable.

They've done more than compete with SPFL top flight sides - they've spent more on wages than anyone outside of Celtic.

No he didn't.

Can't understand this. Surely starting from a debt free situation, rangers would have a substantially larger income from gate receipts, food sales, merchandise and sponsorship deals than anyone outside the premiership. So they could easily afford a stronger team than their competitiors by only spending what they earn. They could then spend bigger when they get into the premiership as their income increases. They dont need to be trying to win the domestic cup competitions at this stage. The fans would surely accept this.

In a word: yes. No-one can understand it. It's a farce, crooks, thieves and idiots in charge at Rangers.

It is amazing. I was just shocked when reading up on it today.

The fans would be better off starting up a fans club like AFC Wimbledon.

Most people associatd with Rangers assumed they would be back in the Champions League within years, successive promotions before they toppled the Glesga' Sellick and rightfully returned to the peak of Scottish football.

If you want to understand the thinking, which is hard to do, you have to get inside the mind of the Rangers fan. A dangerous game to play.

Im no accountant but giving half the first team of Rangers £10k plus a week at least, the manager an annual wage of £600kish and directors picking up nearly £2m in wages, not to mention severance packages of £500k plus a number of times for higher ups who were crooked in the first place it is easy to see how the idiots have squandered the share issue money.

I like that Hearts top but the collar's a bit sloppy and the badge is a bit too small. Still, great wee tribute and the fact that they've been working on it for a year and have given up a wad of cash to make a statement is commendable.

Money is Scottish Football is often hard to come by, but there is potentially millions of pounds riding on avoiding the play-offs. Prize money for finishing higher up the league, increased gates, TV money, sponsorship etc etc. They are a fantastic idea, should have brought them in much earlier.
