Finally!

Not strictly a spoiler. They've been saying that's going to happen for ages.

When Ben turned that wheel he may have sent the Island back in time. Those left behind will now be interacting with the very much active Dharma initiative.

Interesting, but they seem to be creating new mysteries without solving old ones.

They only have 2 seasons left.

The Pierre Chang comic con video showed the Dharma Inititive had knowledge of future events.

 The fat guy is hilarious.

Thanks for that. Now that is very interesting...I wonder who the kid is & how they know so much about the future.

Have they released any more vids?

Not that I'm aware. Regarding the vid, did you notice how much the voice off camera sounds like
Faraday
?

I thought it sounded familiar & it backs up the Island went back in time theory.

Damn, the wait for S5 is going to be a really long one. :(

If the island went back in time, my prediction from last year is correct and I'm awesome confirmed. Well I will be awesome if the rest comes true. Basically everything that got them to the island is the doing of Locke which he put into motion after the island went back in time to around the 1940s.

They'd better not kill off Desmond and Penny.

New Casting -- A dangerous new character.

Spoiler Warning: While there is nothing that extensive in the way of plot information here, if you want to remain completely and utterly untainted by advance knowledge of the next season of Lost - stop reading now.

We've been hearing about several new Lost characters, some of whom are likely on the smaller side, but now EW.com's Michael Ausiello reports that the first piece of "major casting" has been done for Season 5. The new addition is Zuleikha Robinson, who will be playing a character named Ilana, whom Ausiello describes as pivotal.

Robinson was seen on FOX's recent, short-lived series New Amsterdam, where she played the partner to the main character. She also was Gaia on Rome, and was a lead on The X-Files spinoff The Lone Gunmen, a role she reprised in the final season of X-Files.

Ausiello describes Ilana as, "a European female who possesses great intelligence but who's also dangerous as all get out. She's alluring and apparently used to getting her own way."

Robinson will have a recurring role during Season 5, but Ausiello says her contract includes an option to become a series regular in the sixth and final season.

Lost: Season 5 premieres in January on ABC.

Probably just me, but she looks a lot like a character that a lot of people hated.

Not me though, I thought she was fine. I was very happy when she *you know what* though.

Faraday is alive. . . probably.

Also

Said Taghmaoui of La Haine, Three Kings and Vantage Point fame will be joining the cast as Caesar.

Lance Reddick will also be back next season as Abaddon.

Nestor Carbonell will be back as Richard Alpert but will not be a series regular still.

Probably? :o

I don't remember anything life threatening happening to him at the end of S4.

Unless...Being away from the Island when it 'moved' put his life in danger...

Didn't you just say in the USTV thread you didn't even like this show?

Nope, I said bar for a few episodes per season (the ones that deal with the mysteries) it's mostly forgettable fluff. (the filler episodes are as bad as the filler episodes in BSG)

Example, the episode about Jack's tattoo & how he got it...completely pointless episode.

There are plenty more examples... :|

Over-rated pap that takes 10 episodes to do anything important (which oddly enough Heroes is slammed for, dress it up in faux intellectual preteniousness and people lap it it).

I agree there was filler episodes but for the most part these have all but gone from the show now. Coincidentally around the same time they announced an end date for the show. Definitely one of the best things that could have happened to the show.

Being much better would also be a good thing to happen to it. :P

Again, you talk of Seasons One to Two. I love the show and even I can admit that Season 1 and 2 suffered from bloated middle sections. But since that end date was announced there is NO filler or fat in this show. It makes me wish EVERY show could announce an end date. The quality has improved exponentially in the past two seasons.

Also, explain how it's pretentious?
