I think Aonuma knows more about what was shown than you.

Ditto - honestly it's the pricepoint for me at the moment. 3DS first party titles never seem to be in any sale - which hasn't been true since I bought a Wii-U. I've had my 3DS XL since Xmas and I've only got 4 games from the first week of getting it. When summer holidays come around I intend to right that.

Zelda-U looks great. I'm notorious for not finishing Zelda games - I might make my summer the summer of Zelda and just blitz through a whole bunch of them.

well for link between worlds i know you can get it for 30 quid, i completed it in about 18 hours but that didn't include doing all the side extras including missing a few items. It's well worth it i think especially if you are a fan of link to the past as it pays homage to that quite a bit.

Link Between Worlds is £25 is cex, well worth it.

£25 is pretty much the price I wanted to pay (and is the right money IMO for 3DS games) - so I'll be picking it up next payday.

I'm not very familiar with CEX; is that £25 price for a new copy? If not, Amazon could post you a new copy for under £27.

Dam you Jawa - that'll be ordered at the end of the day (CEX would be 2nd hand).

I would be very surprised if this title is ready and to be released for 2015.

2015 is going to be an amazing year for games.

I loved Link Between Worlds, just an utterly charming little game. I thought the central idea of having all items available from the start was surprisingly underused though, and didn't offer all that much variation on a standard Zelda progression.

Still, hiding on that boss' shield was one of my all time favourite 'holy gooseberry fool did that actually just happen, that's strawberry floating genius' gaming moments.

Well...he does. I'm not sure why that being actual gameplay footage is beyond the realms of possibility to you.

Nintendo are usually pretty good about not putting out bullshots, right? If they say it's gameplay I'm sure it is. Very impressive engine if so.

I don't see how you would control the game from any of the camera views shown, also there was no HUD

Presumably what they've done is recorded the data of a person playing and then set up scripts to record the right bits from the right angles. I'm sure there was a bit of post-processing too! But the interesting thing is the implication that the game world might really look as nice as it does in the trailer. :)

Are you aware of how theater modes in games such as Halo and COD work, for example?

Nintendo don't have a track record for that kinda thing, so I'm confident the finished game will be comparable to that at the very least.

How could that be gameplay? If it is then it must be a strawberry floating on rails shooter with slo mo arrow time.
