I know it's nothing new but strawberry float me England are so wasteful in possession. We're already starting to look like Liverpool under roy. Such an unimaginative, nothing, pointlessly safe appointment.

They're just so slow and lazy on the counter-attack. It's something that makes Spain/Brazil/Argentina/Portugal exciting to watch.

Actually, would it be fair to say that they play similarly to Germany, but just much less efficient? That may be way off the mark, but I'm no tactics-whiz

England a tough nut to crack under Hodgson? :roll:

More to do with the woeful finishing from Norway and Belgium rather than good defending. I'm not an England fan, but I was really looking forward to seeing England under Redknapp. This is just boring

Yep, but can't really ask much more given he's only been manager for two games. We haven't made any real progress for over a decade afterall.

With regards to Lambert, glad we've got someone sorted. My focus is on the Euros for the moment, but I'm looking forward to seeing some changes at Villa next season.
