Not sure Liverpool need an attacking midfielder....but a good shout to join us if rodgers wanted him in the first place.

Really? We need as many players as we can get.

Shadow - do you really think Liverpool will be contesting fourth place next season?

Charlie Adam and Henderson are nowhere near Siggy's quality and Gerrad is getting on.
He'd be a fantasic signing for almost any team in the league after Man City, Man U and Chelsea.

I think I'll start following the EPL next season. It'll be kind of weird not really supporting anyone though. Maybe I'll try sell my loyalty to the highest bidder.

Next year I've chosen not to give a strawberry float about the EPL for the first time.

Yes, and although I'm not willing to mutilate any of my body parts if we don't, I think we'll be close, chiefly because I expect Spurs and Arsenal to have poorer seasons next year. I honestly think we now have a big 2 and then it's all up for grabs after that.
last season was shite, but two of our best players were out for over half the season each, Suarez missed 9 games, Downing can't possibly be any worse this year, Sterling should start to play and we have money to strengthen the squad over the summer. I don't think we'll win the league, but I think in terms of points, there won't be much separating 3rd and 6th.

If Lucas is fit for the whole season, anything is possible.

If Arsenal keep Van P they will undoubtedly be stronger. They've signed Podolski and Wilshere will be back from injury. Gibbs has improved a lot too.
Who knows what will happen with Spurs. If they keep their team, I can't see Liverpool coming any higher than 6th, probably 7th.
If Chelsea get Hulk and possibly another striker, I think they will comfortably fight for the title, with City and Man U.
