Just like Carrick. :slol:

What's the shifty smiley for?

I thought it was common knowledge that Carrick did a lot of sideways passing? :?

I also don't really understand what that has to do with my comment about Downing? Unless you're implying I'm a Utd fan again because I took the piss out of a Judas Villa player?

Is that it Photek?

You're awesome.

Reading way too much into a comment. :fp:

The smiley was cos he was bizarrely left out of England squad.

Okay apologies.

Maybe you've changed! :o

Martinez still in the running apparantly, who'd you prefer?

Rodgers bringing 3 backroom staff with him to Liverpool!

Should be interesting.

If he plays good football we'll give him time. Hodgson's problem was that both the results and the quality of football were the worst the club had seen in decades, we didn't just turn on him because he was unfashionable.

Rodgers will play good football so he'll have the fans backing, it'll be the owners he has to worry about if we finish outside the top four.

The fight for the top four should be really good this year, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool could all finish anywhere between 3rd and 6th imo, should be fascinating.

I don't include Newcastle as I expect their squad to be ransacked over the summer.

If Liverpool finish above Chelsea I will cut off my own balls and post a recording in the Entertainment folder.

You can sig this.

Suprised he's taking Pascoe with him. He's just an ex-player that was given a coaching role and part of the requirements for the last manager we appointed was Pascoe takes the assisstant job to keep costs down (Rodgers has Frank Lampard Snr as an assistant at Watford and Reading). Maybe Pascoe going was part of our compensation

Someone needs to make sure this is in the OP of next season's thread.

You need to put the quote tags in, or it looks like you're saying it. And we wouldn't want that.

Jam is right though. No way Liverpool will finish above Chelsea.

Unless they make some unbelievable signings, the best they can hope for is 5th.

I do have a horrible feeling that they will steal Sigurdsson though.

If Liverpool are gonna back Rodgers they need to write next season off. It'll be a transitional phase as he implements his style of football and gets rid of the deadwood and moulds the side into his own. From what I've seen of Lucas he'll be pivotal to his plans as well.

Liverpool paper reporting that we got £7m for Rodgers and backroom staff. Tidy amount, would pay for Siggy if he's still coming
