Nah, I got a better reason. We shouldn't sign him because he is injury prone and would want 250k a week. Plus we close to signing Kagawa, who plays basically the same position.

But I agree, Macari talks bollocks. Him and Crenard do a lot, hence why I stopped subscribing to MUTV years ago.

The rodgers dchoice is an interesting one. He'll want time to mould his team. Will the Liverpool fans give him that time?
Should be interesting.

Macari is actually quite clueless on MUTV. Whenever anyone phones in saying stuff like "we need a new midfielder who can pass" etc he will just say "we are fine in that area"

They're scared to have a go at the team because Ferguson will probably ban them from the channel, he's that petty :fp:

Hopefully we'll have the Kagawa deal wrapped up in the next few days and then Fergie will turn his Sauron-gaze upon some other targets. I don't know why United haven't been as heavily linked to M'Vila as Arsenal have, Fergie should be all over him, he is the exact type of player we need to get our defence the protection it needs. Young, powerful, technically capable, he'd be an awesome acquisition Image

Then get Llorente, Munain and Baines and we'll be set 8-)

Gill said we had three particular targets. Kagawa, Baines and Powell ?

I would have thought so but those targets and us letting both Owen and Berba go doesn't make sense

Letting go of Owen makes perfect sense, legs made of glass. Berbs not so much.

Ferguson might change to a 4-2-3-1 with DDG; Jones, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra/Baines; Carrick, Scholes; Valencia, Kagawa, Young; Rooney

With Nani, Hernandez and Welbeck on the bench if needed.

Let's not even joke about it; Liverpool will NOT be challenging for the title next year. No strawberry floating way. You can sig this.

i'd rather sig the following risky predictions:-

"west ham will not finish in the top 4"

"alex ferguson will chew gum on the touchline"

"someone will hit the crossbar"
