Do Norway really need to equalize before we wake up and show some urgency?

England have been gooseberry fool since Gerrard went off. Midfield sitting far too deep.

He's only been quality since featuring for Arsenal this season

Bold selection would have been Andy Johnston.

Yep, and showed that with a decent first touch of the ball.

Huseklepp is on. Finally something to care about.
Pity what's happened to his career.

AJ hadn't played in 5 weeks (apparently) and he looked far, far better than Downing ever did.

*yawn*

That was a really poor spectacle. Also, it's no wonder Huseklepp is out in the cold if that's what he's doing these days. Come back to Brann, Erik, and you'll find some form again.

It's pretty obvious from tonight, that if we don't have a leader on the pitch we're fairly useless. A better side would have destroyed us tonight. If Gerrard gets injured, we need another 'captain' to replace him (not Terry.)

LB - A.Cole
Wingers The Ox and Johnson
CM - Gerrard and Parker
Strikers - Rooney and Carroll

Haha, it's alright. That's why there's always an assistant manager. ;)

Solid defence but woeful going forward. Carroll feeding on scraps, an early Downing cross his only chance. Some good link-up play on the rare occasion he got a decent ball.
