strawberry floating hell :fp:

Keane facing long spell out
Manchester United striker sustains cruciate ligament damage

Sir Alex Ferguson has expressed his disappointment after young Manchester United striker Will Keane suffered a knee injury that is set to keep him on the sidelines for an extended period.

Keane picked up the problem during England Under 19s' 1-0 victory over Switzerland, which secured their progress to the European Championship in Estonia this summer.

However, it has emerged that Keane sustained cruciate ligament damage and he now faces a lengthy rehabilitation programme, which means he may not be available again until the early part of 2013.

"I am very disappointed for the lad," United boss Sir Alex Ferguson told the club's official website.

"He was in the first-team squad for next season."

Also, this...

While I still think Hargreaves was talking bollocks, maybe it is time Fergie had a look at the physio team and see just what the strawberry float is going on.
Not 100% sure how legit the table is though as I can't find it on the site.

Thankee, Spinny.

Obviously I'm still not happy ( :x ) but you have to give them credit for going all the way despite all dem injuries.

Worth taking into mind that the "Days lost" for Man Utd may be slightly skewed (only slightly, though) due to Fletcher's coilitis, which isn't the fault of the Physio team.

What's all this twitter jibber jabber about United going in for Barca target Jordi Alba?

Would be a great signing and a younger alternative to Leighton Beatle Baines :shifty:

Our players are made of glass so their must surely be a problem with the medical team, Surely? I've never known United have this ridiculous level of injuries before. It's not horrible freak injuries either, it is bog standard injuries that are occurring too often.

Watching the Italy game. All my years watching Italy it is kind of strange seeing two black players on the team

Well it's hardly a racist comment though is it? More an "I have eyes" comment.

strawberry floating Italy in friendlies is worse than Italy in the last world cup  Super Mario and Cassano wasting chances.

I talked them up earlier in the Euro thread didn't I   :x From what I've seen of the game, especially the first half, Italy did waste a few golden opportunities.

Not fussed as Italy never seem too great in friendlies. The front two did waste a lot though which isn't a great sign. They will care more in the actual tournament though.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is reportedly ready to make a bid to sign Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini, 24.

Not sure what to think about this. Its probably bullshit so I won't bother figuring it out.

Aston Villa are attempting to avoid paying compensation for Norwich City manager Paul Lambert - because they believe there is a clause in the Scot's contract allowing him to talk to interested parties in the Premier League if the Norfolk club are approached.

Or its because they haven't got any money and this £50million war chest Glowy likes to bang on about doesn't exist.

Villa won't have 50 million to throw down! Maybe 20 at a stretch, Lerner got burnt by O'Neill so I don't think he'd be as rash with the cash next time.

They probably have £15m, but it'll be £50 once they sell Albrighton, Bent and Agbonlahor.

In response to Bear's post, even if we wanted Fellaini, the Blue noses don't sell to us.

The Metro have picked up the "Rooney to PSG for £100m" story. Whilst I can't see it happening, imagine what Fergie could do with that sort of money  *

*pay off a tiny slice of United's debt :slol:

No, they have a £50m war chest. They bought it from Ikea in wednesbury.
Unfortunately it cost £89.00 (down from £149.00) due to a chip in the MDF and
It is currently empty.

I want to know why René Girard isn't regarded as the best manager in Europe right now.

3 6th place finishes in a row for a club like Villa was a good achievement, remind me where the positions they've finished since? Regardless of Glowy's opinion of him its a fact they've got worse since he left.

It's the biggest achievement of the season.
