The guy sat next to me on the train squeezed my knee and asked for my phone number. 1) don't do this 2) if you absolutely feel you have to, don't do it one hour into a three hour train journey because we now we both feel awkward and this will not be over quickly.

KFC has apologised after sending a promotional message to customers in Germany, urging them to commemorate Kristallnacht with cheesy chicken.

The BBC wrote:The Nazi-led series of attacks in the country in 1938 left more than 90 people dead, and destroyed Jewish-owned businesses and places of worship.

It is widely seen as the beginning of the Holocaust.

The message, heavily criticised for its insensitivity, was later blamed on "an error in our system".

The fast food chain sent an app alert on Wednesday, saying: "It's memorial day for Kristallnacht! Treat yourself with more tender cheese on your crispy chicken. Now at KFCheese!"

Read about a similar incident last week on a bus:

Police have issued an image of a man they want to identify after a woman was sexually assaulted on a bus.

At around 7.15pm on August 18, a woman was sitting on a route 455 bus at Barnard Close in Croydon.

A man, who had boarded the bus, sat next to her and stroked her leg. The woman challenged the man and moved seats, before the suspect got off the bus.

Detective Inspector Jonathan Potter said: “I am appealing to anyone who recognises the man in this picture to come forward and speak to police.

If it makes you feel better I'm pretty sure that they commit suicide.

Found out the date of my aunts funeral is going to be my little sisters birthday. I don't really care about it and I'm sure if they actually told my sister she wouldn't be annoyed about it either (she's going to be 13) but my Dad who was already annoyed at my Uncle is even more annoyed than he was before. I mean I get why he's annoyed, he could've scheduled it any day, why on my sisters birthday. It's probably just a mistake but he's acting as if it's some act of war and it's really annoying.

My Dad's family used to be so close until a load of gooseberry fool happened before my Nan died and now they're constantly at war with each other. It just sucks.

He also doesn't want to tell my sister as he thinks it'll ruin her birthday, but as I said to him she's going to find out eventually anyway. At least give her the chance to see if she wants to go and don't hide it from her. I said if it were me and he said nothing to me I'd be really strawberry floating annoyed.
