I'm confused, there's a drive-thru right there. Did the driver not think to use it?

Maybe he thought he had to drive through to get to the drive-thru

I think I have gone from Greggs' best customer to their worst.

When I was a fat bastard I used to eat them every day for lunch, without fail. Now, I take my own lunch to work and never buy food-I only go in to Greggs for free coffees or get a free vegan sausage roll for my wife from vouchers I get from mt phone deal and energy supplier. Probably get 2 or 3 a week and never pay for anything. And then to make it even worse yesterday I accidentally picked up someone else's order and drank it, meaning they had to make it again.

So not only am I not paying for anything ever, I'm now ruining other people's orders.

Back when you were in your prime, how many Gregg's corned beef pasties could you eat within an hour? I work with a woman who was adamant for years she could do 12 so we put her to the test. She did not do 12

The thought of doing 12 makes me feel sick

I reckon once I hit 6 I'd be struggling.

In the actual test she did 5 which I thought was admirable! 6 is in the level of attainable territory, I've no idea why she thought 12 was reasonable, let alone going to be easy

I know I'd end up being wrong, but I reckon I could do 12 of them.

409 calories in 1 so 12 would be a solid 4,908 calories in 1 sitting.

I've never (knowingly) eaten anything from Greggs.

As for gluttony, I once ate three boxes of Jaffa Cakes in a single sitting.

Gregg's is one of my guilty pleasures I always make a beeline for when I'm back in the country.

I always get a Sausage, Cheese and Beans slice and a steak slice thinking 2 is a doddle.

I always regret it halfway through whichever one I have second.

I really wish tea was as good as coffee. You can just keep drinking tea all day, but you can't just keep drinking coffee :(.

Luckily for me, tea is better than coffee - so I don't have that problem.

I look down on the coffee drinking masses from atop my mountain of Earl Grey superiority.

Tea is one of those popular things I've just never really got.

Coffee on the other hand :datass:

Earl grey is like someone spilled hot water on potpourri, then was too embarrassed to mention it and served it anyway.

Having an absolute nightmare with our cats atm. One has been coming home covered in what looks like engine oil all over her paws. I suspect someone nearby has dumped some out behind their shed or something and for some reason she keeps walking through it.

The other cat came in on Sunday gagging a lot. It didn't go away so took her into the vets and they recommended sedation so they could inspect her throat. Under sedation they found a blade of grass but it's managed to get lodged up the back of her nasal passage. After an hour under general anaesthetic they were unable to remove it so have no referred her to an animal hospital on Monday. The bill so far has been £575, and the the animal hospital estimates it'll be between £2100 and £4200!

Pet insurance should cover it all, but I just can't quite believe it...

I do half decaf and half full caf in my coffee machine (one of those filter ones that they have in diners with a carafe), means I can basically drink it all day (well up to 3pm).
