Shingles sounds horrible, feel better soon Ob Bob.

I'm back to work tomorrow after 3 weeks of paternity leave. Feels bad, man.

Shingles is gooseberry fool, I had it a few years ago and its one of the worst illnesses I've had, had the spots on my face (near the eye so had to have antivirals), neck and back and the pain was almost as bad as having a pressure sore.

Hope you recover soon Ob Bob.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. It's been unnerving to see the sincerity with which everyone who has had or knows about it has been offering their sympathies, and as it keeps getting worse and worse I am beginning to understand why :dread:.

Sounds like I've got it the same as you did, Ironhide. I'm on the antivirals now. My eyeball feels like it's going to pop out of its socket.

Just got back from the Post Office where I was queuing next to a woman who was coughing and spluttering nonstop. While standing next to her at the tills she then casually mentions to the guy behind the counter "Oh it is Covid, but I've been isolating for a few days so I think it's okay now".

Oh well, I guess I'll find out in a few days if I've got it, along with everyone else who was there.

It's the governments fault for telling people to get back to normal, but this still sucks. What an idiot.

I'm annoyed when people go out with colds and happily spread them around. I don't want to be ill full stop really.

Crazy how inconsiderate people can be, but part of it's a management problem.

The bigwigs at my office have decided that we all need to be in every Tuesday as a hard rule. To quote the service manager, "If you're well enough to work from home, you're well enough to come into the office".

I had a cold a few weeks back, and I decided I was too ill to work from the office with a clear conscience, so I just called in sick since by their own logic I was too sick to work from home, even though I would've been perfectly capable. strawberry float 'em, they made their bed.

Just before the pandemic really got going, I had a stomach bug. The company had recently given us laptops and as I wasn't feeling too bad, I offered to work from home that day to stop anybody else getting it. My boss at the time refused, said I'd have to come in or take a sick day. As my Bradford score was high at the time, I decided "strawberry float 'em" and went in.

A few days later, 3 people were off with sickness bugs. A few weeks later the first lockdown started and we all had to work from home. A few months later, we were all made permanent home workers.

Wankers.

People who spread illness around are such selfish banana splits.

"It's not covid!!!!!"

Well maybe not, but you're still coughing up green gooseberry fool, strawberry float off home.

Guys I'm worried if another thing happens I might explode.
