That was brilliantly done. The decision over Mae’s “throw” was wrong, though. By the definition Alex looked up, every jerk of the string was a new propelling of the ball, so she “threw” it many times.

Just fyi, Mae's pronouns are they/them

Acknowledged. And fyi, I might not recall that in the future, and you shouldn’t read anything into that.

And if we are expected to research every person’s identity before referring to them in the third person…

Mae Martin:
I’m nonbinary, my pronouns are they/them and she/her (I love it when people say ‘they’ but I don’t mind ‘she’ at ALL).

fyi.

Fair enough. I know Alex and Greg have been using they/them during the series.

Felt that last task was a bit unfair on the team of two.

I really didn't like the scoring of it.

I mean mine are in my Sig and people still mess up

I also don't mind traditional pronouns sometimes, but in most walks of life if you say that people will literally never make the effort to call you they/them. And I mostly don't mind it because I'm just at peace with the fact that that's the norm, not that I particularly identify with he/him pronouns.

Similarly I'd imagine Mae is saying that because they're a media personality and it's inevitable that they're going to be called she a lot.

I can’t imagine what kind of self-hating lunatic would be browsing this forum with Display Signatures turned on.

:shifty:

In my defence, I never look at anybody's sigs, I just can't be arsed turning them off.

If you love Taskmaster, hate adverts and have Netflix, then there's good news. The first 6 series of the show are now on Netflix.

Love how Frankie brings in a painting (almost) every week for the prize task, and hasn’t been called out for it.

I'm quite behind on this series. Unsure if it's the tasks or the cast (probably the latter...) but after the first couple of episodes I lost interest in continuing.

I've just seen Mae Martin and Charlotte Ritchie at a gig, but it was so rammed I couldn't get over to say hi

It’s Mae’s dominance in everything but the prize task that’s making it a bit boring. The funniest parts of the whole thing have been Frankie’s comments on stage. Very little of the task footage is entertaining.
