Easy £45 for Nintendo

Just pre-ordered this on a poor-sleep lazy e-Shop browsing whim. Had the second half of my Nintendo voucher (previously used for TOTK) to use and am not too interested in Pikmin/Pokemon. If something very exciting and Nintendo-y is announced later in the year I'll 'doh' then!

I think it's very nearly a fantastic art style I always wished they would use the art for their games that they do for some of their promotional materials. Particularly the style like my avatar which I've always loved.

For me though it's still too close to NSMB and it's a bit too safe like a half way house between the two. I don't know why they don't ditch the 2D/3D look and go instead for flat 2D as I think it would look better ultimately.

They've probably got a announcement planned of some kind with Miyamoto to reveal the new VA as part of the Wonder marketing.
