It's like some sort of halfway house between development studio designed levels and procedural generation.
It's an interesting point, kaz... I think the answer varies for everyone. Mario Maker? Loved it! Just the right balance of depth and ease-of-use. Game Builder Garage? So disappointing; far too complex.
But... of course, that's just my tastes. I can see that Garage offered far more potential and depth - but the time and learning processes were too much for me personally at that time.
I'm hoping that Dungeon Maker veers more towards Mario Maker. I think it is a wee bit more complex, though!
