Got this.

I like it. Its pretty decent for quick sessions. But it does get very repetitive in a long session so I'm going to restrict my time on this to quick sessions.

Also Boomerang is a banana split put me off from playing as him.

If the player base remains low then I guess we'll see price cuts pretty quickly. I'd like to try it but I fear that, as a live game, unless it's hugely popular then there is risk that it'll be killed off.

But, hey, it's made by a decent studio and has presumably been costly to develop, so perhaps we'll see a FFX IV / No Man's Sky / F76 type of uprising.

All the issues aside, the story in this is absolutely good.

The fight between Evil Superman and Wonder Woman is really excellent.

I have to say this is a solid 7 game. I liked it and each character have their own weaknesses and strengths but Deadshot is probably too useful.

Harley is probably the worst character to use because her method of travelling is too limited.

Not sure if you, Jawa will like it. It all depends on how much you like the DC universe.

However... I do wish we can have a Justice League game. But I can understand why they went with the Task Force X mostly because of Superman. He's too powerful and you can't have a JL game without Superman and anything less than a powerful Superman will have the fans up in arms.

Fair chance the servers are shut down before all the planned year 1 content comes out.

It launched at a very unfortunate time, Palworld was getting everyone talking, Helldiver's 2 is blowing everyone away and half the price of this, no hype yet for new DC movies and the last big DC efforts have died at the cinema. Also the real life death of the best Batman voice ever made some of the story fall short of a massive send off to a legend.

Within 3 months we'll get a revised road map and 3 months later they will say developers have moved to other projects.

I'm surprised WB decided to repeat the ending loop of War of the Ring with this, just padding until the dlc is out.

Wish my image sig would work

It's tough to get an accurate picture here. Of course, the facts are that the PC player base looks to be low and Warner has said sales "haven't met expectations", but the game was one of the best-sellers of the past month on PS5 in the US.

It does feel like the wave of "bad vibes" and the general perception is going to cut down the game; unless Warner stick with it in a FF XIV / No Man's Sky / Fallout 76 type of scenario. I can't imagine them doing this, though - they're probably more likely to cut their losses rather then spend time and money improving the title and changing perceptions.

I am in the Suicide Squad 8-) .

I was always keen on trying it out and the recent price cut drew me in. Yeah, I know about the noise surrounding the game but I just want to give it a shot.

First impressions: great accessibility options (including changing/picking colours) and the graphics look well smart!

Season 1 Episode 2 launches on Thursday, 23 May.

Hello people of Metropolis!

Episode 2 is almost here! And alongside will come a slew of new loot to hunt for. For this Dev Update, we wanted to deep dive into the new Two-Face Infamy set, alongside its new associated mechanics.

Punish

One of the main features of the Two-Face Infamy Sets is Punish, a new Status Effect that will have you delivering justice, unhinged criminal style.

The effect reads as follow:

> Punished enemies 50% increased Critical Hit damage. Each Firearm hit on Punished enemies has a 50% Critical Hit chance while they are Burning.

At a base level, this is already a powerful effect when taken full advantage of. By combining weapons that apply Diablo Blaze and that benefit from crits, you can deliver some seriously high damage. The Joker and Deadshot are the clear favourites already with their penchant for burning and critical hits respectively, but that is just the beginning of what Punish can do.

Two-Face

The Manufacturer Augment for Two-Face Firearms reads as follows:

> Successful Critical Reloads trigger Judgment for the next 10 seconds. While Judgment is active, Critical Hits with this firearm Punish enemies.

> With good timing and good aiming this effect alone will keep all enemies around you Punished, meaning that you can activate the rest of the Tier 1 set.

1-piece bonus

> Each hit you take has a 50% chance of Punishing the enemy that hit you.

> TWO-FACE BONUS: Each time you Punish an enemy you regenerate 10% Shield.

2-piece bonus

> Every 10 seconds, “Heads” or “Tails” alternate as active effects. While “Heads” is active, you deal 1250% more damage to Burning enemies. While “Tails” is active, melee hits have a 100% chance of Burning enemies.

> TWO-FACE BONUS: Critical Hits on Burning enemies deal an additional 250% damage and you take 50% less damage from Burning enemies.

3-piece bonus

> Killing Burning enemies has a 50% chance of causing a fiery explosion that Burns enemies within 25 meters.

> TWO-FACE BONUS: Increases Critical Hit Chance by 100% on enemies that are both Punished and Burning

The Tier 1 Bonuses for Two-Face’s Infamy Set revolve almost entirely around Punishing and Burning, making for a simple but devastatingly powerful combo. This Infamy set is one of the simpler Episode 2 sets to play, made around the ‘Heads’ or ‘Tails’ buff. Once you find the rhythm, you’ll find a cadence of setting enemies on fire and then capitalising on this by doing bonus damage to Burning enemies. We hope you’ll also appreciate the defensive options that the set enables, especially on higher mastery levels.

Green Lantern Infused Enemies

Brainiac has developed his power over the Justice League’s DNA yet further, and has gained the ability to create Green Lantern Infused forces. These tricky enemies are able to summon Green Lantern Constructs, turning up the pressure on the Squad. To cap it all off, Green Lantern Infused enemies are immune to all direct damage until their Constructs have been destroyed, meaning you’ll need your target prioritisation game to be on point when tackling them.

That’s it for this week’s Developer Update, we’ll be back next week with more info on what’s coming to the game in future updates.

See you in the Elseworlds,
Darroch and the Rocksteady Team.

I'm playing through the opening section. First impressions:

> The controls seem to be pretty complex; lots of hold-two-buttons-at-once approaches and it's tough to take it all in. It doesn't really help that the intro has you controlling each of the four characters in turn and you'rd being told about so many different moves. I get that it's to give you a go with each character but it's just a barrage of information.

> But... the graphics are very good - the cinematic character faces are just great - and the gameplay is fun. Fighting the baddies really is all-action and there is a terrific verticality to the environments. I just feel that I'm gonna be button-mashing for some time until I get to grips with the moves!

It's currently 60% on Steam I'm tempted to buy it but I'm worried it'll be rendered unplayable at some point.
