No offence taken, I do indeed want it dead and buried.

Well he's convinced me. I thought I loved it. But now I realise that I was actually shite.
I'd like to think I'm not an apologist for the movie. I don't go around trying to conjure up ridiculous theories and backstories to explain every little thing. I accept there are things that are a bit too coincidental (Han and Chewie finding them, R2 waking up) and that it does perhaps immitate ANH a bit too closely at times (Death Star III being the main culprit), but I don't get all the confusion about Rey being good with the force.
What I took away from it was that she'd heard stories about the Jedi (This is brought up several times in the movie) so it's quite likely she knew what a mind-trick is. Kylo Ren flat out says that she's "untrained, but stronger than she knows". For me it's not a stretch at all that she fumbles her first two attempts at it before getting it the third time. But apparently these things need to be spelled out in black and white or its just "a bad movie". We're not allowed to leave anything unexplained it would seem.
I've not got a problem if people don't like it. That's fine and I don't expect to change anyones mind. I do think that there will be a small percentage of those people who are hating on it because its "cool" to not be part of that crowd. The same thing happens with games that come out, get universally praised then after 6-months suddenly become "shite".
I loved the story they told and I'm excited to see where it goes from here. At the end of the day it's not perfect, but some Youtube edgelord with a clickbait video title isn't going to convince me that it was anything other than fantastic.
I kind of agree with the guy in the video. It definitely lessened lessened my enjoyment of the film that certain things were never really explained. The main one for me was the state of the government. Couldn't they have given us a couple of lines about the difference between the rebels, the republic and the first order.

Why do some people feel the need to have EVERYTHING spelled out to them? How about watch a film for entertainment and fill in some of the plot holes, you know, by using your imagination?!

It's not everything it like a couple of small details. It's because I don't like thinking "hang on a minute..." every five minutes.
