First one was one of the most nailed on 7s I think I've ever played, doesn't fail spectacularly in any way but just does basically everything to some degree of "meh" (to be fair, it was lovely looking at times I'll give it that)

Unless this gets convincing rave reviews I think I'll be waiting for it to come to GP

I think I'm in the same boat, waiting a few months for the bugs to be ironed out, pre-order bonus dlc to be added free of charge and for it to his EAplay/GamePass.

Why pay £70 to play it a few months early?

I’m going to wait for it to come to Game Pass or a decent sale, it’ll be a good game but not one I’m in a rush to play at the moment, even more so with Redfall and Zelda Tears of the Kingdom out just after it.

Cal is, after all, a more experienced Jedi Knight now, five years on from his adventure in Fallen Order. But for player purposes you need game difficulty to ramp up, so he can't be an all-slaying, Force-powerful demi-god right from the off. That opens you up to that 00s buzzphrase of choice, and the old ludonarrative dissonance.

"We don't want to take away powers from Cal, so you do start with them," says Shishido. "But since we're making a brand new game for the sequel, we want to reward players and make sure there's a nice progression system, where you feel like, as you play through the game, you're getting more powerful.

He’ll end up absurdly OP! I bet they at least take away his light sabre.

I mean... they can certainly keep the mandatory power upgrades from Fallen Order while resetting the skill tree powers. With the five stances of combat, I feel that's where the focus will lie in getting more powerful. Learning new skills for each stance. Maybe mixing in Force powers, too. Such as using a Force Push into 'saber throw.

The PS5 file space requirement has been confirmed as 147 Gb.

I find your lack of SSD space disturbing!

Aren't you a little small to be a AAA game installation?

That kind of game size is genuinely off putting. I've no idea why, but it just is.

I think the Xbox series S version is 45gb, so is it the 4k textures pushing up the size?
